+ the location and room decor - the room was extremely small, even for european standards and the plumbing was not working consistantly.

Location location location Great platform to see a lot of the city: right next to Musee d' Orsay (Impressionist galleries) and walking distance to Pont Neuf, St. Germain, Louvre, Notre Dame. Recently remodeled vaguely early-20th-century art decor. Only real complaints: room space was tight and no shower (tub w/ handheld showerhead only).

Hotel Libertel Bellechase is a quaint little hotel tucked behind the Musee Rodin, within walking distance of the River Siene. The rooms are small by American standards, some are downright claustrophobic. The biggest like was the location and price, the biggest dislike was no air conditioning, and tiny elevator. Otherwise this hotel is right by the train and 30 minute walking distance from La Tour Eiffel and the center of the city.

Very nice hotel, very well placed, 20 metres away from the Musée d'Orsay and the Seine, 50 metres from Boulevard St Germain, RER and Subway stations at 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Rooms are splendid! People at the hotel are very nice, professional and helpful. A place to go when u'r in Paris! Rates: we've got a discount thanks to Venere so the price was still a little bit high, but acceptable in consideration of the standard of the hotel.The full rates are quite expensive but, hey.... this is Paris!

Great find! The hotel is in an excellent location and close to lots of tourist attractions. As the hotel is on a side street there was absolutely no noise from the street which is appreciated after a long day sightseeing. The rooms have been recently refurbished so everything was in good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

charming smal hotel . location great. fine breakfasts. service so so. trouble getting taxi. not much help from concierge.the rooms were clean, altho tiny. the bed comfortable, bathrooms clean. some packages taken from our room.

Bellechasse was the perfect haven for our stay in Paris. It is a small boutique style hotel, with extraordinary and artfully designed spaces. Paris hotels rooms are small by nature, and this one was as well, but it was beautifully decorated in every detail. We requested a room with the collaged imagery of the butterflies, moths, sea coral, exotic birds and "winged" men. (See the hotel website for the gorgeous options!) Happily, this room was available and I felt like we were sleeping and waking in a wonderful dream world. Beautiful design captures the heart and imagination, and it made our stay in Paris all the more memorable! The room came with fluffy robes, slippers, toiletries and a deep soaking tub. One small drawback is the tub and sink areas were combined in view of the sleeping bed, given the tight design of the room layout, but some hotels seem to be going in this direction and putting tubs out in the open. The hotel is perfectly located just half a block away from the Musee D'Orsay museum and it's corresponding metro stop in a lovely safe, neighborhood. A second metro line "Solferino" is also only a couple blocks away, which increased the ease of transit, as we traveled by Metro throughout our stay. The staff was bi-lingual and extremely helpful in all our inquiries. The lobby area is very small, but lovely with a small bar and seating areas. There is a breakfast area on the lower level and with an additional fee you can opt to eat breakfast at the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to enjoy the beautiful city of Paris in an extraordinary setting!
