The hotel is wonderfully positioned close to Champs Elysees and the Metro. Of great significance is its closeness to the Air France Shuttle from CDG. Good inexpensive cafe/restaurant (The Empereur)quite close by. There is a nice Boulangerie at the end of the street for breakfast. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Room amenities were satisfactory. Above average in value with regards to room rate and facilities. We stayed on the 5th floor facing the street with an uninterrupted angular view of the Arch. External noise was minimal with the window closed. Heating was great. Great water pressure. The double standard room was a little small but as expected in Paris. There could have been tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise all other amenities were excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel - its location was perfect as my husband was running in the Paris marathon which began at the Arc de Triomphe.

+ the room and the location - the hotel had no hot water for 2 days and we were only there for 3.5 days. it was very uncomfortable that we had no decent shower for almost 3 days until we got home! when we asked the staff about it they didn't even apologiz
