Good value This hotel serves it's purpose. The rooms are small and we did not have a proper shower but it was good value for what we paid.

Would Certainly Stay Here Again We would certainly stay here again. The room was small as all our Paris hotels rooms have been but the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, the hotel staff was helpful to even our offbeat requests -search for the NCAA basketball scores was graciously accommodated. The access to metro and bus is terrific. We especially liked the location in a neighborhood where we could frequent the local restaurants, bars and shops. There were several good local Bistros and Brassieries. The patisserie down the street was excellent with a good butcher shop across the street. We spent several late afternoons with a pichet of wine and cafe eclair, sitting at the local bar, watching the world go by. The hotel is on a quiet street and provided a lobby area where we could sit and talk and had a lovely patio if the weather had been better we would have used more. There is an easy walk to the Luxembourg Gardens and interesting street life, but we liked staying in a place where parents walked their kids to the school next door and the shop owner remembers that you order the same thing everyday.

This hotel is in a quiet area and well positioned for getting around Paris. The room was on the small side but we were there to see the sights, not the hotel room! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Would go back Decent hotel in a great area if you don't want to be right on top of the tourist attractions, which I didn't. Having said that, it was very easy to reach all of them when I felt like it. Staff were helpful and friendly, as were all Parisians I met!

Ok rather basic No strong complaints about this hotel but it was very basic for the price. In a good location for eating as near to bars and cafes. A great pity that the hotel bar and patio, which are its best features have such a limited choice of refreshments. It was bizarre not to be able to order a glass of wine in Paris!!!!

room near a view having visited Paris last year and seen most of the usual tourist sights we chose the hotel as it was in the lower Montparnesse area which we hadnt visited . The hotel was quite sufficient as a base though if youre looking for luxury then this isnt for you. the room was a little dated but was clean and tidy however, and only a short stroll from the montparnesse nightlife . The black tower block that dominates the sky line in this half of Paris is also just around the corner and affords fantastic views of the city whilst the train station nearby has direct trains to versailles. So all in all if you have seen the other half of the city then this might be worth a try.

A bed for the night This hotel is perfectly competent for what we used it for - a bed for the night. The room wasn't very big - just about fit the bed! Also there was no shower unit, just a showerhead connected to the bath. It was clean though, pretty quiet and close to a metro. Nothing special but a decent bed for the night.
