Budget place with great location near metro The hotel can get unbearably warm during summer months as there is no air-conditioning. It has a tiny fan that does serve some purpose. The room is quite small but the bathroom is still quite decent. The hotel is near a metro station, less than 5 min walk, so the location wise it’s great. There are a few bakeries near this hotel and is great for breakfast.

Delightful bijou hotel close to Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. Handy for Metro. Forget Breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Paris and our stay at the Hotel Vendome St Germain. The hotel is in a side street close to the Cardinal Lemoin Metro so handy for moving about the City. Also convenient walking distance from the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame and the river generally. We had a room at the front although we did not suffer from any street noise. Breakfast for Euros 8 was not worth the experience. Prefer to go round the corner to the Cafe Cardinal for the Euros 6 set breakfast. Would certainly recommend this 2 star "no frills" hotel for the room alone although would avoid room 3 adjacent to the lift shaft. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family

Hotel Vendome The location of the hotel is great since it is really close to the metro station. During my stay at Paris there was a strike and the train/metro system were not operating. I was able to walk to some of the major sites from the hotel. The room is really small. There are restaurants in the area which was good highlight. My biggest problem was the bathroom since the shower head was not installed on the wall and made taking a shower "complicated".

This was a great stay. We were in Paris during the transit strike, but the hotel was close enough to everything that walking everywhere was not a problem. For the price it was an awesome find with some cute touches, like window boxed filled with geraniums

Good service, great location, fair price. Very close (easy walk to) to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. Very close to a Metro station which covers Paris very well (around the corner and across the street). Good bakery’s, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Friendly staff will help you if you have questions. Room is cleaned everyday and fresh towels. Will keep your luggage past check-out time if requested. Great experience.

yech first of all, we should start by saying that we travel often and have stayed in many 2* hotels in paris, so we knew what to expect in terms of room size, etc. however, this place takes the cake in terms of worst place we have stayed. the only redeeming quality is the location, which is very convenient. when we walked into our room, the stench of body odor was overwhelming, if that gives you a sense of how clean the room was. the reception staff were abrupt and constantly treated us as though we were children getting in trouble for something. they were very rude in demanding the keys and not helpful with anything.

Basic, clean hotel in a great location Rue Mouffetard nearby has dozens of reasonably priced restaurants.

Pleasant but not extravagant Reasonable price, central location. They have a safe box in each room. The room keys have to given back as you leave the hotel for the day, but sometimes there is nobody at the desk, so anyone could swipe the key and enter your hotel room. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, which cannot be affixed to the wall and there is no shower curtain. If you can live with showering while sitting in the tub, the place is fine.

Just one thing... While I wasn't expecting much from this hotel there was one basic thing I would have expected...a mattress where you couldn't feel the bedsprings. Otherwise I would have given this hotel a higher rating and would recommend it. I'm an experienced travellor and have been in many different types of accomodations. I would accept this kind of mattress in a hostel...not in this price range.
