The hotel is easy to find. Just have a good metro map handy. Vera at the front desk is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She really went above and beyond answering our questions. Each morning we enjoyed a french breakfast at the hotel consisting of bread, juice coffee or tea and fruit. A good way to start each day of exploring. A short walk to the metro and we were able to get around the city with ease

When visiting France the best thing to do is find the small hotels and stay there. The Hotel Val Girard is true Paris, true France. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is awesome. I believe the rooms on the South side are the ones that if you lean just a little out the window you can see the Eiffel Tower. Also there is a very good bakery right down the street and a nice cafe about a block away along with a pay phone for calling cards. The Tabac is also about a block away (great for calling cards once you arrive in Paris). The Metro, or subway, is just a short walk away.

VERY clean, quiet neighborhood with excellent services nearby-cafes, bakery, metro. Staff English-speaking and very helpful both prior to arrival via email and during stay. Had iron available for loan - great hot water - comfortable bed and pillows. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. It was excellent value for money. This was our third visit to Paris and this hotel was by far the best for the price. Excellent clean rooms, extremely helpful, efficient staff and a good location....only minutes from Metro. We are happy to recommend this hotel.

We traveled in August together with my son & my mother. Hotel personnel was very nice & supportive for all the requested we had during the stay; tips regarding the restaurants, how to reach different tourist spots, shopping area directions, etc. A big thank to all of them, as I had some health troubles with my son and they helped me a lot! Even if the room was smaller than expected and the view of the room was not so nice, the neighborhood, the quietness of the area and the convenience of connections gave definitely a plus to our stay.

I thought this hotel was fantastic: while the room itself was a little jaded, the staff and service more than made up for that. They helped my friend find her way to the French Open on the bus and advised on ticket prices etc, the staff couldn't have been more helpful in this and other queries. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was a real disappointment in every aspect. our room was ridiculously small (my 4th trip to paris and used to small rooms but this just exceeded all expectations). The noise was unbearable, you could hear everything in next rooms and who was usi
