We stayed at the Ritz in August 2004. The hotel feels old. Not antique but old. The velvet in the furniture was consumed, the stucco on the walls was cracked all over the place! We tried to have breakfast in the ONLY restaurant open and they refused to seat us because we were not dressed formal.

Good place to stay. The service was great. The beds were comfy too. Good location for pretty much whatever you want to do. I like it better than the Ritz-Carlton.

This was such a great place to visit and the Hotel was sooo wonderful. It was my dream come true. John and I thought the staff was professional and the room service was incredible.

Outstanding and conspicuous luxury property with 18th-century flavour in fitting location.Sumptuous and ostentatious. Communal areas overflowing with 18th-century style and decadent glittering opulence including lavish lobby, palatial restaurant and plush classy bar. Basement nightclub; health club with Graeco-Roman decor.
