Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location, one block off the Seine near Place St. Michel. Room was disappointing, however. We thought we were getting a studio but it amounted to one tiny room with a poorly equipped "kitchen" which was basically the size of a very small closet, about 3-4 feet wide. Two burners, a small sink, a microwave and small refrigerator. Just a couple plates, glasses, forks and spoons. No cookware, utensils, dishtowel, soap, coffeemaker or the basics you would expect. The bathroom was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the street soundproofing good. Air conditioning was a godsend. Noisy at night if you want to keep the window open.

This location is perfect; surrounded by cafes and shops, just a couple of blocks from the Seine, Notre Dame, and the Metro. It's a very lively area, but our room was surprisingly quiet. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated - though not fancy. The staff was helpful and friendly. Be aware that the "lift" is unbelievably small; barely room for two with one small bag. If you are at all claustrophobic, you should be prepared to take the stairs. Our room was on the fourth floor, so that was a bit of a chore at the end of a long day of walking. All in all... a great stay and we would definitely return!

+ the location was very good - it was located above an irish pub and next to another one with lots of people making lots of noise until the morning. for the same reason, the whole room was full of cigarette smoke coming from the pub, especially at night s
