Hôtel Prince

- Rooms in the front will have some steet noise although it didn't bother

+ Good location - Paying extra for breakfast

Furniture is really dated and room felt dingy. My 8yr old daughter hated coming back to our room.

+ drinks/snack food cold. - staircase very narrow and miniscule elevator

+ Disponabilité et gentillesse du personnel - us. Breakfast not included and is very basic.No shower curtain in room

- Rooms are a bit small but you get used to that in older European hotels.

We found exactly what we wanted. Hotels (Prince and Tuileries) were in proximity of the sites we wanted to visit. Locations were close to the metro stations. Room sizes, facilities and services offered were adequate. Considering this is Paris the prices were also reasonable. Of course this is all relative. We were not interested in 5 star hotels. We were in Paris to visit and have fun which we did.

+ Very accessible to the Metro, optional food choices (market,restaurants), bed was comfortable - The air condition was running and had no access to turn it off. Did request to keep it off but it kept running. Finally fixed the problem 5 days into the tri

+ Helpful staff. Good location for tourist sites. Subway station - 5. Common corridor should be litted while the motion detector works, it sometimes is a beat slower and makes the area eerie.

It was a good stay in this hotel. The only hitch was that everytime we had to take a shower, we had to almost step over the wc. But then, this is Paris, what more can one expect. We stayed in room#103 which was a decent sized twin room that was converted into a double room. Two things rock for this hotel: firstly the location: it is a 15min walk from the eiffel tower. Anytime you leave the hotel, you can see the top of the tower in the distance. Secondly, the receptionists who do everything short of actually coming with you to the place that you ask them about. It was a pleasure to speak with them. The hotel is on a wide, safe street. Very close to Ecole Militaire metro station (you can see the name of the hotel as you come out), but doesnt give the feel of being near a station. There are a lot of restaurants close by. If you like Indian food, try "Goa" and "Punjab". You must try the mango lassi in "Goa", it was to die for. French brasseries abound, as well. I would love to stay in this hotel again.
