Hotel Pavillon Bastille was entirely renovated in 2007. This 19th century townhouse in the most fashionable district of Paris is located opposite the new Bastille opera house and close to the Marais area. Our hotel features 25 double rooms and they are all equipped with a bathroom with a shower, a bath tub and a hair dryer, air-conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar, satellite TV, a telephone, internet access, a radio and a desk. Rooms for non-smokers and for disabled people are also available. A few steps away from the hotel, you can find yourself amid French history in the Marais district, on Place des Vosges, on Ile Saint-Louis and exploring avant-garde art galleries. In the surrounding area, you can lose yourself in fashion boutiques, hip cafes and many other Parisian sights. Unfortunately we do not have a proper restaurant, but if you wish we can recommend some good ones situated nearby the hotel. We serve breakfast in the room or in the breakfast room and our bar is at your disposal.

+ The room was immaculately clean; the air conditioning very effective and silent. Hotel is only a minute from the Metro. Excellent all around. - Grumpy night porter. Real unfriendly and unhelpful. Rest of staff were great.

the room was so small there was nowhere to open a suitcase, a portable air conditioner with a flex hose stuck through a hole in the wall blocked access to the bathroom and chair, the air conditioner was switched on by the overhead light so at night you ha

+ location and the new condition of hotel - My third time at this hotel, room-comfort went down each time. This time, they gave me a room that was literally on the street (rue de Lyon) and felt like their was no sound-proofing and open windows
