The rooms have very dirty curtains and smell bad. In addition there is a man who attends in the reception of the hotel by the nights that was badly educated. One night we ask him for an address and he answer us in a very aggressive way and screaming, we were scared.

small room, doesn't matter - you're in Paris! two metro-stations within 5 minutes walk, supermarket, bars, restaurants round the corner. Next time in Paris - again hotel paris-rome.

I was threatened at this property by the violent Algerian manager, who forced his way into my room and demanded that I leave - simply because I asked for the room next door, which did not stink of mold like the one I was in! As a man, I am not worried for myself. Once attacked, I can defend myself. I am writing because the Paris-Rome is run by Moslems. In Moslem culture, women are very susceptible to physical abuse, many are murdered. In fact in most Arab countries, if you are on the property of a person who does not want you there, he has the legal right to kill you!!! This is the mentality of the hotel manager, a man from Algeria who won't give his last name. Also significant is the fact that I was moved from my original room to a tiny one, no more than 2 by three metres, smelling of mold, and very unpleasant. Decent hotels let you stay in your original room. The room door had no security chain or second lock, there was no "do not dusturb" placard. The Paris-Rome is a very dangerous place, with Al-Qaeda sympathizers. It is just not good enough to be a Venere.com property. Prevent future lawsuits by removing them from your available hotels. Cramped rooms, with torn towels, mold in the shower, confrontational desk people, no respect for guests - these are not the makings of an acceptable hotel.

although it is not a 5-star hotel, it offers all you need for your stay in this amazing city. it is very well located, we took only 15 minutes walking to the Louvre, and 5 to the Opera. there are lots of good and/or cheap restaurants just 2/3minutes walking around, and you don't need the metro to get to most of the city atractions.advice, take the breakfast, for 6 euros is convenient and at a right price regarding the area where you are. definetly, we'll go back to this city and almost sure to this small hotel if it keeps the prices. have a nice holiday!

The staff are friendly and speak various languages. The rooms are a good size some have balconies. I was able to walk to various tourist attraction from this hotel and where i couldn´t walk the metro was close by.

A basic accomodation, clean and spacious rooms, within walking distance of the city centre. Excelent prices and friendly staff mean I would defintiley go back. Nothing to entertain children this is instead an excellent base for exploration. Although id prefer the adventure of trying new places their number and address will remain on me when visiting paris again incase I should need it.
