Referred to another hotel. But a better one. The location of the hotel is excellent for cafes and restaurants. It is not so good for sightseeing as the RER is dirty and crowded. I would recommend it for people who have already seen the sights in Paris and want to relax.

Charming hotel Two minutes walk to one of the nicest parks I've seen anywhere. Lovely gardens, sculpture, children's play areas, and chairs you can carry to your favorite spot! (Jardin de Luxembourg)

All Review Photos I booked my vacation through e-vacations.com, and they recommended this hotel for me. I gave them some parameters and they suggested the Hotel Observetoire. It is a three-star rated hotel, which, in an American equivalent, is...

Great location. This hotel was convenient for walking to the major museums, Notre Dame, and other key sites. Rooms are smallish by US standards but pretty typical for European hotels in a reasonable price range. Private bath with plenty of hot water! Ask for a room at the back if you want to avoid street noise but with the windows closed and air conditioning even a second floor, street side room was quiet enough for sleeping. Hotel front desk staff all spoke English well and were more than willing to give advice and assistance. The attached restaurant was nice for people watching and snacks, didn’t have any meals there as there were too many other places to try.

The hotel had a great location, not far from an RER (subway) entrance/stop and within walking distance of Notre Dome and the Louve. Our hotel room was small but that is what we expected in Paris. The only issue we had was the night staff was a...

good hotel in excellent location we stayed for two nights and were impressed with this hotel. the rooms were clean and bright, and our room had a pleasant view. the staff were very helpful. the hotel was in a good area in easy walking distance to the main sights, and had plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. we would happily stay here again.

The hotel staff was immensely helpful and courteous at this boutique hotel. The proximity to the beautiful luxembourg gardens is excellent as well as a short walk to the heart of the 5th and 6th arrondisments. 3 stars in Paris simply doesn't go...
