Novex is not a hotel. It is a hostel. The pillow was really dirty and I did not dare to inform the hotel owner who criticized those who called me of calling me so late at night!!! One night I found a baby cockroach in my bed which persisitently did not want to leave my bed! I just thanked God that my wife was not with me on this trip, otherwise we had leave this place. Something else which is really irritating is that this place is terribly nosiferous and you cannot really sleep till 3 o'clock in the morning. the neighborhood play ping pong all the day and night long and the guests make a lot of noises all the time around (of course, it is due to the very thin prefabricated walls which transmit every bit of sound). The bathroom and services where so small that if you are a fat guy around 100 Kg, it is better to forget about this place. Overall I will not go to this place again. I prefer pay a bunch of euros more and stay in a decent place. I do not want to take pain killers or tranquilizers to go to sleep after a day long exploring Paris.

BED BUGS!!! The mattresses were so old that you could easily feel the springs in your face. Although the sheets looked clean it was not until my son woke up yelling at 3:30am, complaining about something crawling on him, that we checked the sheets on bot

+ This is a great hotel for people who are looking for bare essential at a cheap price. Staff was extreamly helpful and nice. Location superb; right next to metro. - I would not recommend for families but this is a perfect place for solo travlers looking

Overall stay was excellent. But I would like to comment on my request upon arrival to shorten my stay from three nights that I reserved to only 2 nights which was not granted by the hotel management. We actually on spent 2 nights but was asked to pay upon regristration the 3 nights that I reserved. I think it is not fair that we have to pay an accomodation that we have not used, it could have been acceptable if they just charged us with a reasonable penalty.

+ Budget hotel with friendly staff in the heart of Chinatown. Saved around 30 euros a night on hotel bills! - The bathroom was very small.

HOTEL WELL SITUATED IN A QUIET STREET OF CHINA TOWN, VERY CLOSE TO SEVERAL METRO STATIONS. MINI MARKETS AND RESTOS JUST DOWN THE HOTEL. VERY NICE PERSONAL. CORRECT FRENCH BREAKFAST. CLEAN ROOMS AND BATH ROOMS OF CORRECT SIZE. HOT WATER AND HEATING FUNCTIONING. GOOD PRICE FOR PARIS. HAVE ALREADY PAID MORE FOR LESS QUALITY

+ nice lady working there - it was very basic, with holes in the floor and walls, not at all what we expected. Small bed, basic bathroom!

breakfast isn't included. Bathroom in single room is too small. But the employees are smiling and nice and I enjoyed my stay. Pay attention!! You have to pay the whole amount at the check-in.

+ Quiet neibourhood, near metro station. - They should clean and disinfect the room. The bathroom is too small.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights and it was a complete disappointment. The rooms were small and smelly and it was located in Chinatown so you didn't really get the feeling of being in France. Luckily there were the subway close to the hotel so we could get into town. I wouldn't stay here again, there are definetely better hotels in Paris for about the same amount of money!
