Hotel Montpensier

+ Good location, good size of the room - you could hear what people in the next room was saying!!

A fabulous bargain at the price - a real dollar saver! Best location in all of Paris. Close to transport, restaurants, shopping, museums. This was my second stay at the Montpensier and I would happily book there again!

+ we liked being near the centre of Paris to see the museums and churches.

The hotel was very close to the Louvre and located in an area where you feel safe at night. The hair dryer in the room was a bit outdated, but other than that, there are no complaints for the price and location.

Nice hotel, just few steps to Louvre or public trafic, classical sweet breakfast, nice people. Recommended highly.

+ The staff was very nice and helpfull when I wanted to change the romm. - The roooms where very small with an old and weared.

We booked accommodation in this hotel because of its proximity to major tourist attractions. We booked double room with Superior Bathroom but found we had to walk a considerable distance to the shower (which wasn't very clean).The double bed was pushed almost against the wall so the person sleeping on that side could not get out during the night without disturbing the other person in the bed. The carpet felt dirty underfoot. There was a construction site opposite the hotel & the noise from this woke us early in the mornings. Staff were pleasant. The Louvre was pleasantly close as was the Palais Royal Metro, plus the Tuileries Gardens. I feel the pictures shown on the websites were not factual but were misleading.
