Hotel Le Saint Gregoire

If you want to settle in to Paris, whether it is for a weekend or two weeks, this is a neighborhood and a hotel that grow warmer and more comfortable with each visit. Adopt a local cafe; perhaps the Nimrod; don't look at your watch; savor the espresso and the essence of Paris.

I had expected something a little special. There was virtually no bar service - no mixers - not even lemonade. When booking it stated breakfast was included but we were then charged £40 extra for two mornings! It is a little too far from comfortable walki

Would have liked the option of double rooms, but only offered twins (ie 2 x single beds); would have liked the option of superior rooms but only offered standard. Rooms facing street very noisy early mornings. Need better instructions for drivers as there is no mention that this is a one way street! Would enjoy more variety of in-room (only got news channels in English) entertainment, especially when staying in all evening to avoid student riots!! Venere prices quoted were almost the same as advertised rack rates at hotel so not much benefit gained!

Very nice location in the center of Paris, quiete room but a bit small, excellent service including parking (to be paid)nearby

+ Friendly staff, nice hotel look&feel, more personal than most large chains, clean place, quiet room - not exactly the level of the room you would expect from a 4* (bathrooms in particular) - this is a refurbished 3* - though ok compared to price

We will definitely be returning to Hotel Madelaine Plaza next time round.

Extremely helpful and amiable staff, restaurant recommendations brilliant. Lovely room overlooking the street. Breakfast delicious. Neighbourhood perfect. A most delightful and enjoyable stay. Will come again!
