Hotel Le Pavillon
54 Rue Saint Dominique - 75007 Paris
The Hotel Le Pavillon is a small, low budget hotel housed in a converted monastery and located in the seventh arrondissement in the centre of Paris. It is only 150 metres from the Eiffel Tower. The 16 guestrooms, over two floors, feature simple, functional decor in pastel colours. All offer direct dial phones, cable television, bathrooms and wake up calls. Guests of the hotel can relax with drinks on the patio, and ask multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk for tour assistant and help making bookings and reservations. There is also parking nearby for those arriving by car. The hotel's location means guests are just two blocks away from the Eiffel Tower, 300 metres from Napoleon's Tomb and one kilometre to the Louvre Museum. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 35 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 50 minutes.

Not Impressed This small room was not at all comfortable. There was no air conditioning but one could open the windows. The lack of screens meant that it was difficult to leave the windows open. The bathroom was not clean, the toilet was dirty and the shower was in ill repair. The door did not have a back up locking source. The hallways were always dark. The one positive was that the front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Fortunately we were only staying 1 night and spent the majority of our time out of the room. Was not an economical choice of lodging.

The rooms were very small, and for the price, we could have found much better. The location was magnificent however. The hotel is extremely close to the Hotel les invalides and not far at all from the Musee Dorsey and the Louvre. Good restaurants also abound very nearby. The 11 euro breakfast leaves much to be desired. Decent metro access, but the RER station is a good trek away with luggage, but defintetely possible. We have found comparable hotels in Paris for around 80 euro. So, besides the location, there are definetely better deals to be had.

Ecnomical place to stay Hotel is located about 400 meters from the Eiffel Tower and a block from a Metro station. Area is safe to be out at night with a couple local restaurants a few steps from the front door. Rooms are small but clean and liveable, could use new matress though.

The hotel is mostly for turists and people on business, who doesn't spend much time in the hotel. I had a good stay at the hotel but I felt deceived, when they charged me for breakfast, which they did not inform not to be included in the price. I will normally gladly pay for breakfast, but I would like to have the choise for what and when before doing it...

LOVED IT! EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LE PAVILLON!! This is a fantastic little hotel thats set back off the street in the 7th arrondissmont. I’ll start with the hotel itself. The front desk workers are extremely nice, very helpful and speak very good English. The breakfast area is in front of the desk and right by the front door. It’s really expensive so we didn’t eat there; there are plenty of great places to eat just minutes from the hotel. Our room was very spacious. We requested a family room, which had two double beds. The bathroom was absolutely huge! There were a few little downfalls. There were little missing light covers over the wall lights and our door knob was in a bad state when we arrived, but it was fixed during our stay. Honestly these things were minor and because everything about the hotel is so great you can overlook it because you didn’t pay for a top-notch, superior hotel. The reason we chose the Hotel le Pavillon was location, location, location. The second you step onto the sidewalk in front of the hotel you have an up-close, beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Its maybe a 15 minute walk. Rue Saint Dominique is a fantastic street full of great clothing shops, cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, wine shops and childrens stores. You can do a ton of shopping just on this street alone. There are two metro stops pretty close by. The one we took each day, Le Tour Marbourg. The Hotel le Pavillon is a great budget hotel, that’s near one of the greatest monuments in the entire world. I highly recommend this hotel!

Slightly better than an Israeli army compound in Negav desert if you want a great location at a reasonable price, this is your place. Other than location, price and real friendly desk people, forget about it. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks don’t even think of having breakfast in the hotel. 11 euros (you do the math)for juice, cold cerial and a day old roll.

Business traveler. Good hotel with a special street view of the Eifel Tower. Everything was fine as far as I was concerned. My only reservation concerned the inexplicable banging of a hammer and shouting at 3 am in the morning. Please note that the hotel is not air conditioned, so you must leave the windows open. They open onto an alley where garbage is stored for various businessd establishments. There is no smell whatever, but people are pretty noisy when knocking those plastic garbage bins around. Don't use the Les Invalides metro station, it's closer to the La Tour Maubourg station.

Stayed at Hotel Le Pavillion mid August. The hotel has an excellent location, as it is central to many attractions, but tucked away from the tourist buzz. The staff was very welcoming, and the hotel was pretty much as described.
