Hotel Jardin de Villiers

Great residential location, near the pedestrian market street of Rue Levi. Friendly service. Bedding is old and worn. Room is typically small. Noises from the hallway, and other rooms across the hall, were clearly heard.

During check out, the receptionist started to argue with the customer about the use of pay tv. Charged about that, in my opinion, unfairly and superior. The other clerk was however wery friendly and positive. Pay tv shoud be confirmed by the room number.

Both my wife and myself had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. We felt very much at ease with the welcome,quality of service and surroundings.

+ Informal but efficient service, quiet situation, comfortable - There was only 1 electrical outlet in the room and the internet connection was through the buildings electric so the desk had to be moved away from the wall and the TV had to be unplugged to

The Staff were very helpful, and the rooms pretty much as described on the website - pleasant and clean although a little on the small side. AS a base for exploring Paris, I would certainly recommend this hotel. A few bars cafe's and shops are only minutes away, as is the Metro, which makes exploring the whole city extremely easy. Overall a very enjoyable stay

Both my wife and myself had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. We felt very much at ease with the welcome,quality of service and surroundings.

Situated in a typical quarter of Paris we could get an impression of the normal daily life. A nice market nearby, only a few minutes to the next Metro station, a lot of small restaurants in the surrounding. The rooms are small, but functional. Individual air condition is a benefit during summer. Unfortunately the cosy garden wasn't usable, because the wooden chairs and tables were collapsed during the winter season. The free Internet access didn't work, and the staff wasn't able to activate it. But they were very hlpful and offered to use their computer in the office. Alltogether a good place for a visit in Paris.
