We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Grenelle. Excellent location, close to the Eiffel Tower and to the river There was no mention in the hotel description of a charge for using a debit or credit card. Also no mention of having to pay on arrival rather than on departure.

i was extremly happy with this hotel and its price. the surrounding area has lots of bars and resturants and public transport is right on the doorstep. this hotel is definatly at the top end of three stars! for the price i payed it was an absolute bargin... the only negative i can think of was it was quite expensive to use the internet facilities.

At 54 Euros per night for a single, this was excellent value for Paris

Great value for the money; very friendly and helpful staff; well situated with respect to metro connections and restaurants Construction work at the metro station caused some noises and disruptions, also during the nght.

English speaking stuff! VERY friendly stuff!!! 3 Metro stations next to the hotel. 10min walk to Tour Eiffel. All main sites in walkingdistance!!! There was a construction site next to our window, so this is the reason, why it was a bit noisy. But this was NOT the fault of the hotel. As soon as the construction site will be finished, the noise will be gone.

The hotel is exactly as you would expect a good and clean 3 star hotel. In addition the priceperformance ratio is very good (the listed price at the hotel is 150 for two persons per night plus 11 for the breakfast per person). From some rooms you can see the top of the Eiffel Tower which is in 15min walking distance (across a park). The next subway station is only about 80m away (line 6 is not available until 13 sept. 2007) however there are two other lines so this doesn't really mather. The breakfast is also quite good. (Buffet: coffe, tea, milk, jam, cereals, cheese, yoghurt, juice, baguette, some pastries) The rooms are quite noisy as the windows look nice but don't provide any real noise protection and there is a quite heavy used street outside and during daylight times they work at the subway station (however only until 13 sept. 07). Anyway we slept very well without any interupt (maybe also thanks to 1315hours of Paris visiting each day ;)

Room was large, quiet and clean Lift was under revision: Not mentioned at reservation time and room was at 3rd floor ... Breakfeast is not what onw should expect: very bad quality very poor; we got out and bought our own bread: this is definitely a place for improvement.

Wonderfully clean. Great location, beside the metro. Unfortunately there is building work on the metro which spoils the view but not hotels fault. Don't forget to lock door, one of chambermaids does not knock before entering!
