Hotel Galileo

The Galileo Hotel on rue Galilee in the 8th, a block and a half off the Champs Elysee, is not only a bargain (check other hotels and see for yourself), it's a genuine find. Had an absolutely lovely room (303) with a sitting area overlooking the gardens. Staff polite, attentive, responsive. Having been to Paris a dozen times and having stayed in half a dozen hotels, both banks, this is the one for us. Also hear rooms 501 and 502 are

stayed in a twin room it was very comfortable without being very large. The situation of the hotel is excellent very close to the Champs Elyeese

What a wonderful find...

Very nice, clean, quiet, well-run hotel. Good beds, well-appointed bathroom.

Its in a good location, very near to Etoile and Champs Elysees but very quiet, the public spaces are not big but elegantly decorated and very comfortable, the rooms vere a little less glorious but sufficiently comfortable and very clean, Fresh towels every day. The employees were very friendly and helpful. A very nice little hotel that we highly recommend.
