Hotel Du Parc
6, Rue Jolivet - 75014 Paris
A small-sized family hotel in the middle of Paris. Its services, its location and its accessibility make it an appealing place for travelers looking for a choice accommodation at a reasonable price. Here, the passion of receiving is transmitted from generation to generation since 1972. A united team of a rarely seen kindness and regular customers: the good atmosphere is set at once. Every floor is accessible by lift. All 36 rooms of the Hôtel du Parc are soundproof and have double-glazed windows, decorated in sweet pastel colors and have renovated bathrooms with white tiles. The “art-déco" style furniture, sober and functional, mixes perfectly with the tones of your room. Next to the TGV Montparnasse Station and to the undergrounds, theaters and restaurants at the heart of a lively neighborhood, this typically Parisian residence of the XIX century benefits from a very pleasant location facing the square Gaston Baty.Due to renovation works, air conditioning will not be available until mid-2009

+ Never saw or heard any noisy people nearby the hotel. - The room was a bit scarce in its furnishings and small.

excellent value for money if you are looking for a base for sight seeing. Not a plush honeymoon hotel, but very clean with comfortable beds and a very reasonably priced breakfast. beating the local cafes. Excellent choice of resonably priced restaurants surrounding the hotel, catering for every taste, as well as a large shopping centre. Only yards from the nearest metro station and a very short distange from the main railway station/ Metro interchange of Monparnasse. Excellent value for money, we will certainly be using this hotel next visit.

For an inexpensive two-star hotel in Montparnassse, an excellent value. Made my stay happy and uncomplicated. The receptionists were formal but very helpful. I will definitely stay again - perhaps not with a loved one (it doesn't have the touch of luxury) but when I come on my own. For the rooms which have no en-suite bathroom, there is only one shower in the halll which is very small (and clean) so it may be inconvenient for some.

Location is excellent for bus to Orley and GDG. Rooms small by Australian standard but that seems to be the norm. Service and friendliness of the staff of a high standard. Room and bathroom very clean and bed comfortable. Would recommend as a budget s

Very small lift, and need to carry our luggages and climb a flight of stairs before reaching the reception. But other than that, very good location! Metro is just around the corner, supermarket (monoprix) is just opposite for stocking up on food and beverages, lots of small cafes around, and Air France is just walking distance away for transfers to the airport! Would recommend it. =)

We love such a typical Frech Hotel. It is perfect with this small hotel so central situated, and quiet close to the little park. We will return!
