This hotel is a good choice for the budget traveller in an otherwise expensive city. Made better by the location to Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est and the Metro down the road if you don't feel like the comfortable walk to the Seine.

Location, quality and price This hotel is extremely close to public transportation. The hotel is in the heart of the "quartier Republique" which is only a few stops from any major tourist attractions. Good value for your dollar and many places to eat, shop or drink in the area (yes, Mc Donalds is right there as well). The staff is helpful; they actually have complimentary maps and borchures. If you not finicky or need pampering but want to be close to everything, this hotel will fit your needs.

The hotel was in a nice area and the service was good, but the noise in the streets was very loud and kept us awake.

Good value for a short stay I went for 2 nights for business. The hotel is old and it seems it hasn't been renovated for years. However the room, bathroom, towels etc. were clean, perfect when you just need to get there to sleep and take a shower (and watch some TV). The situation and neighborhood of the hotel are OK, near Place de la Republique (Metro Republique).

Nice hotel, very convenient Get a weekly pass for metro - had to carry coins to purchase tickets as the credit card did not work and paper money is not accepted.

Good budget hotel Not the best hotel but we got a good deal which included the eurostar. It was clean and only a few minutes walk to the metro, didnt spend much time there too much to do so only washed and slept there. The staff were friendly and helpful. Anyone who wants to spend a short break in Paris and is on a budget it is a good deal.
