Hotel De Latour Maubourg
150, Rue De Grenelle - 75007 Paris
Business hours of reception: 24 hours The “Hotel Latour-Maubourg” is a splendid private mansion dating back to the era of Napoleon III. It is only a few steps away from the Invalides and located in the triangle of the Eiffel Tower, the Avenue des Champs Elysées and the district of Saint Germain des Près. The building was entirely renovated and has preserved its Napoleonic style with gold and silk elements. Immerse yourself into a world of elegance and tradition! The elegant decoration of the lobby was inspired by the Napoleonic style as well. The majestic staircase and antique furniture were perfectly combined with modern amenities and technologies. Our lobby bar is the ideal place for relaxation after a long day filled with sightseeing or business appointments. You can enjoy your breakfast in our vaulted cellar, in your room or in the garden. Our 16 rooms and one Junior Suite have an individual design while preserving the original charm. The Junior Suite, on the upper floor, consists of a large bedroom and a living room with open fireplace. Our fitness room with a view to the garden and the Turkish steam bath are ideal places for your well-being.

Everything positive here. Staff is very pleasant and friendly. Rooms were well equiped and comfortable although a bit on the small side. The elevator was a nice addition after a long day of touring Paris. The breakfast each morning was enjoyable a little pricey, but once again the service was wonderful. Located right at a Metro stop it was extremely convenient. Lots of good restaurants in the immediate area. Would rate very highly and recomment very highly.

I had reserved two "single classic" rooms with 2 people to a room. Upon arrival at the hotel, the desk clerk was cool, didn't engage in conversation, except to curtly answer our questions. (She spoke english well.) She had 1 person to room. It was easy enough to add a second person. The point is, she didn't have what I had from the internet. Also, it was quoted from the Venere.com website that a continential breakfast was included in our room rate. The desk clerk told us, that breakfast is never included in deals offered by Venere.com. The next day, this same woman was more friendly toward us than when we checked in. We were so put off by her, we seriously considered finding another hotel. I must say however, all other hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating to us. Our rooms were on the small side, but clean and attractively decorated. The hotel is in a great location. Truely just steps from the Metro, restaurants, the Effiel Tower, and St. Germain's Street. Over-all our stay at the hotel was positive, and we came away with great memories. Thanks!

I chose the hotel forr its location and the pictures of the rooms on their web site. I was mortified by the room offered upon arrival and almost left. Turns out only 5 rooms look like what is shown on website & brochure. The rest are tiny-tiny. And there were too many steps for all our luggage!

Hotel location is excellent - across the street from a Metro, close to Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides.Staff are very friendly and speak fluent English. Our stay got off to a bad start when we were given room 3 which is a very small, dark room behind the reception desk - not at all what we expected from the website photos and description. After voicing our disappointment, we were given a room on the second floor, which was lighter and a reasonable size for Paris, with nice decor. Still, it seemed expensive in dollar terms, especially considering they charged an extra 15Euro for breakfast. It didn't meet my expectations, but with less epectations and a lower room rate, we would have been happy.

+ The hotel was lovely. Very well situated for sightseeing. On a quiet street but close to everything. The staff were very helpful and the room was larger than I expected from a Paris hotel. The room had free internet, which helped me a lot because I was

Great location and for Paris a fair price. Our room was actually not bad for Paris and the hotel staff is wonderful. I dont think you will be unhappy staying here. Right next to Les Invalides and a short walk to the river. We loved the location.
