The room we stayed in was decent, as I have heard that rooms in Paris aren't very big in general. There where several mishaps, which had happened to us, first a lot of our Baby items dissapeard and upon confronting the front desk we where pushed off by them claiming they where going to contact the Person who had cleaned our room that day. Our Grandma who was staying the another room at the same Hotel came up with two bottles of brand new perfume missing. When she confronted the front desk, she was told that it would be impossible for this to happen and she would be wrong. The breakfast is not worth the money, as all you get is some toast, breads, cereal and eggs, you're better off going to the Bakery down the street. We stayed at this hotel because of the reviews, which where written here on venere.com but I think that some of them must come from the Hotel itself. If you read really carefully, they all state that the Hotel is on a very convenient spot in Paris, which is true, because you can access all the sights very easily. If you are looking for a warm, compfortable, and inviting Hotel, you need to look somewhere else, as this is more of a nightly stay then any cosy spot.

This rather charming hotel was slightly better than we expected- the rooms were clean and though not spacious, were comfortable and suited us well. There was some noise from the streets in the evening but to be expected! Perfect spot in between the Bvd St Germain and Odeon/Luxembourg gardens. The head receptionist/concierge was delightful and made the stay very special for us and our children loved him! Breakfast was not particularly good value - we found better elsewhere, but on he whole, a great value hotel in a spot-on location!

+ Free wireless for me was a key feature. The buffet breakfast was also very good - A bit over-priced, but I think that is just the trend in central Paris.

+ The location is fantastic - in a quiet road but two minutes from the Bvd St Germain. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One website comment from a previous guest suggested they had received poor service from reception but that was not our ex

+ The willingness at the reception to provide service. The quiet location of the hotel and yet still close to the lively places.
