Hotel De La Tour D'Auvergne

Hotel De La Tour D'Auvergne

10, Rue De La Tour D'Auvergne - 75009 Paris

This smart, tranquil hotel is centrally located in the heart of Montmartre, just 500 meters from the Opera House and some of Paris's finest department stores. The elegant, antique filled lobby leads to five floors of guestrooms (24 bedrooms in total). All are eccentric and stylish, and are individually decorated, with matching brightly patterned wallpaper, curtains and furnishings. Some, for example, have a colourful striped theme, while others have antique pink fabrics with countryside motifs. All have cable television, minibars and wireless Internet connections. Complimentary newspapers are also available in the lobby, and there is wireless Internet connection in all public areas. Guests can leave their valuables at the safe deposit box at the smart reception, which is open 24 hours a day. There is parking nearby, and laundry and dry cleaning can be arranged at the front desk. As well as the Opera House and Montmartre 500 metres away, guests can also visit the Grevin Wax Museum, at one kilometre. Paris's other major sites are a quick Metro ride away. The closest airport is Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport; approximate driving time is 30 minutes and distance is 20 kilometres. The RER train service serves the airport. Line B runs from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Châtelet les Halles, St Michel and Denfert Rochereau, with connections for the metro. A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes. Roissybus serves all three terminals and runs to the rue Scribe for métro Opéra, 500 metres from the hotel.

Well-run, small hotel in the rapidly changing 9th arrondissement. The hotel staff is very pleasant. The rooms are small but comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and well done. Great cafe up the street - Chex Turborg No free Internet; you have to buy Wi-Fi cards, which is a pain.

Pleasant Stay My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel de la Tour d'Auvergne for 2 nights. On arrival the receptionist couldn't find our booking but only because he was just looking for my first name and not my surname, this got resolved quickly and everybody was sighing with relief! All in all we had a pleasant stay and a fantastic time in Paris and would recommend this hotel. There was a small leak under the sink but this didn't spoil the experience.

This is a place you want to go when you come to Paris. It is ideally situated between all the important district of Paris, Montmartre (famous for Amelie Poulin), Opera (the famous shopping district) and Pigalle (for nightlife and entertainment). The staff is friendly and the most important thing, they speak English! I just simply love the decoration of the room, each and every single room here is decorated differently, with music as the theme of this hotel!

The rooms were comfortable and the staff were excellent - they could't do enough for us and spoke excellent english. The only slight criticism would be the public areas are small and can get congested if there are other guests waiting to check in/out.

The room was reasonably well located only 10 minutes from Gard De Nord Train Station, 5 minutes from the Metro and walking distance to the main centre. The room was tiny and quite old but clean enough and comfortable. Most of the staff were polite and spo

All good except a) room service - took over an hour and a half, didn't have many of the choices, and very expensive and b) the map provided was inaccurate, having missed out many streets and making it difficult to find. Otherwise, this was the biggest room we had in Europe and the bathroom was FANTASTIC (brand new!).
