Hotel didn't match star rating Travel by the subway system, the Metro, was fast, convenient and relatively inexpensive. We found out the last day of our stay, however, that it is cheaper to by a group of tickets than to buy just them one at a time.

Will go back If you want to experience good food and atmosphere go to Montparnass and have "crepes" salee (salted with various fillings) and sucrees meaning sweet. There is where is "happening" where young people are dining until late. Safe to walk around, you will like it. Advice came from friends that took us out (local friends).

Very friendly, clean, and convenient ... great value I had a great stay here. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well kept. The breakfast room was bright and cheery with all the standard fare you need to get started. The other guests were a nice pleasant mix of folks ... young couples, older couples, small families, and business people. The location turns out to be very convenient to almost everywhere of interest in Paris. It’s just a block away from the Cadet metro station. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay The location turns out to be very convenient to almost everywhere of interest in Paris. It’s just a block away from the Cadet metro station.

Paris Hotel was Nothing like Ratings! I wish I knew how any alert traveler could have prevented this situation! I trusted the Expedia 3-star quality rating and our trip was ruined because of it. Foreign visitors must rely on photographs, descriptions, and quality ratings, as it is obviously not possible to prescreen hotels. I had politely emailed my requests to the hotel, both in English and in French, and had the Expedia representative telephone the hotel. I thoroughly checked out the hotel website.
