The washroom is absolutely clean but the room is a bit too gloomy for me; it's good if you're on tight budget. The bed is a bit too low although it's still a double bed. Bring all your shampoo, conditioner, etc... because they don't provide any. The ppl who were stayin' at the hotel, however, all seem to be descent ppl.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at thei Hotel. The staff and its service is the best. I was there in the fall of 2004 & 2005. The location was great for me since the hotel is located between the two train station Gare de Nord and Gare de Est. Gare de Nord station goes to Netherlands, Belguim and Luxembourg and of course to Great Britain. Gare de Est station trains goes to Germany. The subway is also within the walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants near the Gare de Nord around the block and very friendly people and they all have international menus. Back in 2005 The hotel manager was the best since he helped me alot when, my passport wsa stolen from the subway train near the Franklin De Roosevelt station Line #9 area and he let me use his phone free of charge since, I offer to pay. No police would come to me to file a report. But this very kind manager help me where to go to the police station which was located inside the Gare de Nord station and gave me the directions. I would very much recommended this hotel to be the best in Paris. It is a family owned hotel and they really do care of their customers. When I came back to Paris and this kind Hotel manager recognized me right away and was very happy to see me. He knew my last name was very familar. I stopped in Paris to visit one more time beofre heading home to Germany to visit my German families. This hotel deserves to be the best in Paris and their kindness and cleaniness. Bob

The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great, very near Gare du Nord and lots of places to eat. The tourist spots are very accessible using the Metro.Since it's only a 2 star hotel, the carpet was old and looks dirty. Part of the bathroom wall's paint is also peeling off.

Breakfast is just adequate, and no variety of choice. But with convenient location, you can find other things you like. It can compensate with low hotel rate (compared to good location). Room is not so small. But shower is very cramped.

We stayed in this hotel with our 22 months baby for seven nights. It is a family run hotel, and my wife and I we would like to thank Monsier Jean-Jacques B., Nicolas and his brother François for all their hard work to create a very hospitable atmosphere.

Close to Gare Du Nore station, which is good. The hotel boss is not friendly, not willing to help, when asked for direction, he would say "it is all in the map". While the other two staffs are fine. The location is quite noisy at night.

The room was basic but very clean. Good lighting in the bathroom and those crazy hairdryers that hotel's always have attached to the wall actually worked! The heating worked too. I requested a double and got two twin beds pushed together. They did ten

Pretty basic, and they charge for using their little computer for internet, but fine, friendly, and good service.

Compared to where we stayed at other hotels with lower prices, this place can not be recommended to anyone. The bed was old and blanket was causing our bodies itch. We wished we never stayed at this location.
