Would not stay again The hotel is convenient to Gare du Nord but had little else to recommend. Our room and bathroom were not clean (lots of black mold on the tiles, hairs on the floor when we first arrived) and the furnishings were very shabby (curtains falling off the rods, ripped bedding and towels, etc). The cold water ran only a dribble in the bathtub faucet leaving us w/ extremely hot showers. There was no maid service during our two night stay.

You get what you pay for Pro's - Cheap, very close to a main RER/Metro/TGV/Eurostar station Con's - Small rooms, old decor. This hotel is tucked away in a side street a 3 minute walk from Gare du Nord which is very well connected for travel into Paris. The hotel itself is very basic, not particularly comportable or romantic, but is adequate as a base to explore from. And lets face it, if you're in Paris sightseeing, you don't need a posh room. The front of house staff were very friendly, but don't expect too much of the breakfast, if its not included in your room rate, certainly don't bother paying extra for it!

Hotel d Amiens The hotel service was ok, but the rooms are not very well clean. And the cleaning service is nor everyday. The breakfast end really quickly, so unless you are one of the first ones there is nothing left. Conseil du voyageur : quelques économies Is good for students with a little of money, the location is very good and the cleaning service not enough.

Basic but perfect The hotel is a short (1-2min) walk from Gare du Nord & slightly further from Gare du Est stations. Very handy location wise and is well serviced by Bus, Metro & RER. We stayed on a quick stopover on our way from the Eurostar down to Bordeaux and was very happy with what you got for your money. Even booked it for our return trip. Basic rooms and a basic breakfast but great if you are stopping over & need to be near the station.

Hotel D'Amiens Stay away from Boulevard De Strasbourg, Strasbourg St. Denis Metro stop and Chateau D' Eau Metro stop after 5pm slightly dodgy area but fine in the morning, also the Pigalle district is the sex part of paris so not good for family's.

Very Impressed The only problem I found was I had to request more croissants each morning, otherwise my stay was very satisfactory and I will definately stay at this hotel again.

Good Hotel for connecting to CDG airport It's inexpensive, old, and slightly run down but very convenient with a great bar (Delly's) just down the street with good food and a glass of beer or wine. Great for 1 night stay if you need to get out of Paris to CDG airport. Use the train station 200 meters away to get you directly into the airport. Good petit dejeuner as well included in price.

Very good for the price, great location. Great location near la Gare du Nord (straight off Eurostar), basic prices, basic room, basic breakfast. Just what you need if you are exploring Paris and not spending much time in the hotel.

great two star this hotel isn't going to make any airline magizines, but as a two star i wouldn't have expected so. it was worth the price, and entirely adequate. the alley outside our window was a little noisy in the evening, and the room was somewhat small, but that's fairly typical in europe. everything was clean and well kept though in the room and out, the included breakfast was satisfying as well. proximity fo both gare du nord and gare de l'est train stations (and their associated metro stops) made it a definite plus for us.
