We stayed in the hotel last July 29- August 1,2006 and we had an unpleasant experience with the two receptionist named David and Lothar. We arrived at the hotel on July 29,2006 at around 5:00-6:00 pm and we were advised to go to room 710, we thought all of the rooms were like that. There was no air conditioning and carpet was filthy, so I phoned downstairs to let them know and Lothar told us to wait until the next day to be moved to another room. The move will take place first in the morning.Lothar left a message to the incoming shift,so he said. The next day, we went to the receptionist named David and he told us that we cannot moved to another room because all the rooms are the same and he told us that Lothar did not leave any messages. We went downstairs for breakfast and one of the male staff was surprised because room 710 in not a room, so we went back upstairs and insisted to David that we should be moved. We booked the hotel a month ago, so we have our reservations. We did not show up unannounced. After the arguments, David finally agreed to find us a room. This is my first time to visit Paris, France and I experience this unpleasant mess.We paid the hotel ahead of time and the staff did not have any decency to give us a good service.I hope that David and Lothar will learn the value of honesty, so in the future customers will trust you more and it will be better for your future business.

This is a beautiful hotel with a helpful and friendly staff. After staying in our fair share of questionable establishments in France we were thrilled when we arrived at Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel. It was a reasonable walk from the Eiffel Tower...

Nice hotel, great location, ample rooms I was positively surprised at this hotel. I travel frequently to Paris, and many times rooms in hotels are very small. The room at the Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel was ample and comfortable. The location is great, at a walking distance from the Metro, Bus and RER. Traveler's tip for business travelers When using local transportation, bus 72, at Ave. President Kennedy going towards Hotel de Ville, it has stops at the RER Station and at Metro Passy. It saves time.

A typical middle range Paris Hotel. Over priced for what it is and everything about the hotel is a bit tired. The arm rest on every chair in the bar was worn through to the filling. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable, the staff were friendly and it is quite well positioned. The breakfast was OK, but they always seemed to running behind on demand. About average for a 3 star hotel in Paris.

Good Hotel Good hotel, has three subway stations nearby and is very close to the Eiffel tower (15 min walk). The room was a bit small, but it served its purpose. The hotel is located in a quiet residential zone and there are ATM one block away. Two train rides away from Charles de Gaulle airport.
