The white tiled bathrooms feature bath/shower combinations, bathrobes and designer toiletries. Expert Tip. This hotel is nicely located close to the Paris Opera House. The rooms are unusually large for Parisian hotels and have nice high ceilings. Although dated, they are comfortable. Service was not bad again, above customary standards. The doors slammed on my floor creating a noisy environment some of the time, but all in all, I was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel.

Excellent service, beautiful air-conditioned rooms with all the amenities, superb central location next to Galleries Lafayette and the Opera. There are 2 Metro stations within 100 meters from either side of the hotel. We had a wonderful time with the children in this hotel.

We've been to Paris at least a dozen times and we know what we like. Given a good pair of walking shoes (or knowledge of the Metro), the location of the Ambassador is central to everything we love about the city. Great restaurants and shopping all around. Very close to Opera (and the Roissy Bus to and from CDG). From our first step on the property we were impressed. The staff was very helpful and we had no trouble communicating. All the public spaces are stunning and they offer free wireless internet. The towels were fluffy and there was an umbrella in our armoire. Very thoughtful. We'll visit this hotel again.

Great Hotel This hotel was really handy for the metro. The staff spoke excellent English but were very patient with our attempts to speak French! The room was lovely and a good size, nicely decorated with a nice bathroom too. It's in a business district, very smart and busy during the day. It's a bit quiter at night but we found some great little places to eat down some little alleyways. They were very quiet but the food was fabulous. Would definately stay here again.

A 4-star-hotel whose mattress hurt my back every night unfortunately. For some reason, I always woke up with backaches. Also, the lobby wireless internet didn't work properly when I was there so for my 4-day-stay, I couldn't have internet in the lobby and had to go in the internet room, which could be stuffy at times. I have told them about the problem and they said they were fixing it. However, the food is delicious! I had the best food there, from breakfast to lunch to a simple espresso. The food was succulent! The staff was always very friendly and prompts to help. I was very pleased with them. We had a meeting room set up with enough routers/cables to accommodate about 10 people with laptops. The hotel is in the heart of Paris, close to a little of everything, right next to a metro subway station, with taxis always available. It's in a great neighborhood too, lighted, people always around. it was a very nice hotel indeed. My back was just hurting after 5 nights there, but I should have complained right away. I was just too busy to, but next time I¿ll know better.

Not impressed The only problem was that the room was very noisy, The gym was just upstairs, Also the rooms look old they have not been remodeled. Traveler's tip on dining There is a very nice restaurant and not expensive just beneath Air France building the name is Chez Francois, I recommend it is not turistic and is very nice!

Definately go back Within walking distance of good shops and cafe's. Walked up to the Sacre Coeur which is beautiful, and spent ages walking round the artists quarter. Only 5 minutes cab from the Gare Du Nord. Can even walk to The Louvre from the hotel, then onto Notre Dame - definately recommend.
