+ The location and small balcony were nice, even though only one chair. however, there were two hotel agoras and, i thought i had booked the other one (agroa st germans). the website was not clear and this agora hotel did not have a website so i had actulaly booked after looking at the other agora web (st germains), which was a much better hotel. - The bedroom was tiny. the shower cubicle was so small that the door would not shut. it was expensive given the very tiny room and no breakfast.

My room N°25 if I remember well got a bad smelling coming from the sewer. All rooms are smoking rooms, no non smoker rooms ==> another bad smelling....

The location is prefect – less than 1min walk to a metro station, and that station is a major station connecting 4 metro lines + 3 RER lines! You can go to Airport and Disneyland by taking one ride and no need to change line. Lots of shop / restaurants near the hotel, never worry of food choice. But the room is very very small, especially the bathroom – if you are a big guy, you may possibly can’t get into the tiny shower cube! The evaluator is also very small, I have to take two rides (1st by myself; 2nd for my wife and luggage) to get to my room. My room is on the top floor with a balcony, nice view to the busy Paris. One minor but important point: this is no evaluator connecting ground floor to the lobby at 1/F, I have to bring my 30kg+ luggage by climbing a circle & small step stairs…

Great location, sullen staff and very small rooms. Did not do breakfast as expensive. In a front room so quite noisy but good location for centre of Paris

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at the Hotel Agora. We will stay elsewhere in the future, but only because Paris has a virtually inexhaustible supply of similar hotels and we find it fun to explore. We found the hotel right away, although we mistakenly thought it was on the other side of the street. I must have read the map wrong. The climb up the flight of stairs to the reception area was a bit of a surprise. The room was tiny, but very clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We had asked for a double bed when making reservations, but were given a pair of twin beds that we pushed together (this lowered our ratings somewhat). The windows shut out virtually all of the street noise at night. The hotel is within easy walking distance of numerous attractions to the south, east, and west. The area to the south was fine, but the slightly seamy area to the north (which included a few raunchy sex shops) was a place we avoided.

More expensive than other equivalent Paris 2 stars. Room was small (not unusual) and appeared to be under renovation (wall paper was quite marked). Quieter than expected given that it was on the corner of St. Denis and Les Halles. VERY handy for the RER-B for an early morning takeoff from CDG. We won't stay here again as there are better value hotels nearby with similar amenities
