Very nice room and a good location. Good access to metro and shopping at Galeries Lafayette. The beds were too hard and uncomfortable. Rooms could use some soundproofing as I could hear almost every word spoken next door.

Nice room, decent hotel. Thought expensive for the hotel. Restaurant closed for a function. Describing the hotel as Opera clearly implies it's location. The Hotel must be over a Km from the Opera.

Be aware when watching television and switching channels... Even if you watch Pay TV for a second, this will be on your bill (11,50 EUR). But when explained, we didn't have to pay for this. But the way they are charging pay tv is kind of strange. Furthermore it was an excellent hotel, with a spacious room, good location, friendly personnel!

We stayed with my wife around new year's eve. Found the hotel well priced for Paris. Staff is friendly, patient and helpful. The hotel is located on the 10th District at a nice 20 min walking distance from the Seine (Point du Neuf). There are plenty of good bars and restaurants in the area which are away from the busy Districts. A great area within Paris to discover. Two main train stations (Gare du Nord and Gare du Lest) are within walking distance which was a plus. On a previous visit to Paris I'd stayed in St Germaine. Also a great and perhaps more cozy and trendy location however discovering this part of Paris was extremely pleasurable.

The staff was extremely helpful, but the room itself left much to be desired. Granted, we weren't in Paris for the hotel room, but I actually dreaded returning to this one.

This was an excellent hotel. They scanned for "incidental charges" had a charge of almost 200 Euros (300 dollars)! Of course I'm going to tell my credit card that this is a bogus charge, but what a hassle! They could have avoided this by giving me a bill when I left; I would have noticed the problem and we would have fixed it right there. I was going to say liked this hotel because they don't charge for toll-free phone calls from your room, but (grin) $300 for a 15-minute toll-free call is a bit excessive!

Cool, but no way was it good for family and business. Too pricey for what they gave you when it came to the food. But good and warm.
