I can be hard to fins a hotel with rooms fit for a 4 person family, but at the Amelot Hotel we had nice room at a fair price. We had a really nice stay at the hotel and will recommend it to other. The location is very central but still quiet. We will return to Ameot later - no doubt.

Overall it was a great stay. My only complaint was that I need to purchase a rail ticket to London and would have appreciated the front desk person helping me with this. Instead I was directed to the train station which took 30 minutes by subway 60 round trip and when we got there it was 7:30 pm and just closing!! This was very frustrating. I would have felt better about it had he picked up the phone or got on the internet and told us when they close so we may have taken a taxi!!

Despite small room, "not very clean" bathroom and not very friendly staff on arival, we had a great time! Breakfast was good, the surroundings of the hotel also. The entire hotel is being redecorated at this moment, and it looks promising! Might come back someday to check the results.

The hotel is ramshackle. Bare unsanded wooden floor in the lift, unsanded wooden door jams, very dim lighting. The floor of our room had a definite tilt - you could roll an egg from one side of the room to the other! This was the cause of much vertigo. Rue Amelot is a very dirty street, rubbish everywhere. Service was ok, but a bit vague. Would recommend for the good price but only to a traveller who didn't care where they stayed.

The reception staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious and newly remodeled. I'll return here next time I'm in Paris.

it was my first time in paris. it was cool. everything you basicly need you have here. the cleaners should knock and wait for a sign of you in the room and not knock and emidiately enter after knocking. whats the point of doing so.that happend twice. any way for the price i would come back here. havent tried the breakfast though.....

The hotel is well located, near three metro stations. It is also near Bastille. The breakfast was just OK (or poor i would say) but for 5 euros... The room has no pillows and that was unacceptable.
