We just returned from a 3-week trip to the UK, Paris, and Italy. Three of us stayed at the Noalles from March 11-15, 2007. We were very happy with our accomodations, including a very good breakfast each morning. The location (Opera district) is walking distance to many great places. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and efficient. On March 13, my wife's passport was stolen near the Eiffel Tower. Our whole trip was, of course, put on temporary hold. Our hotel's personnel, from the management to those at the reception desk, went into action. Calls were made to the US Embassy and to the airline we were to leave on the next day. Even though we had no 'asiarooms' reservation for the night of March 14--and the hotel was one room shy of being booked, we were able to stay an additional night AND in our same rooom. The help with maps to the local police station and to the embassy was sincere and accurate. Our problem was resolved in less than 24 hours. We will stay here again when visiting Paris. It is okay for 2 night stay, or overnight business stop, certainly not to people with children.

Good place to stay We had a pleasant experience at the hotel. The staff was courteous and friendly and the room was clean and stylish. The only complaint is that we had to give the room key back to the concierge every time we left the hotel. Despite that requirement, we would recommend the hotel if you’re looking for European style accomodations.

+ The staff - The room sizes were small, and our room had poor heating. The dining room could not cope well with the number of guests at breakfast.

Some problems. We stayed there 4 nights. The dark haired lady at the front desk was great. However, the others were not. After trying to set the "wake up call" on the phone, it did not work and shut the phones down - i had to go all the way down there and very nicely tried to explain the problem and he was very short w/ me. We needed an iron and they sent me to the basement to iron but couldn’t find one. This happened 2 nights in a row and they refused to go buy one (how much are they? $25?). So we went to Moulon Rouge with major wrinkles. They had 2 floors under renovation and they were renovating a room right next to ours so taking a nap during the day was impossible. The rooms are nice, comfortable and the lobby is very cool. However, they need to get irons, not book rooms on floors under construction, and take care of their customers much better. We left with an unhappy feeling and would try another hotel next time.

+ Conveniently situated near the Opera. Friendly staff. - The room was not soundproof enough. It looked more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one.

+ breakfast, and the quiet. The room faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet for a parisien hotel - the shower was appalling - would expect a proper shower but only hand held. Not good enough at all for a 4 star hotel. Bathroom as good size too but l
