George Opera Paris
46, Rue Notre Dame De Lorette - 75009 Paris
The George Opera is a traditional Parisian hotel housed in a typical 19th century building in the ninth arrondissement, between the lively neighbourhood of Montmartre and the Opera Garnier. The 43 guestrooms are laid out over five floors and decorated in light colors with patterned fabrics. All are equipped with satellite television, complimentary wireless Internet connections and direct dial phones with voicemail. Guests also benefit from safes, clock radios and climate control. The private bathrooms include hair dryers. The hotel has a 24 hour front desk and multilingual staff can exchange currency and provide concierge services and tourist information. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, there is a breakfast room (surcharge). For those arriving by car, there is a parking garage 100 metres away. The department stores of Boulevard Haussmann are within a kilometre or guests can climb the winding streets and enjoy spectacular views from the terraces around the Sacré Coeur Basilica. The stunning collections of the Louvre Museum are two kilometres away and the iconic Eiffel Tower is three kilometres away. St Georges metro station is 100 metres from the hotel for fast easy access to the rest of the city. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 35 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

Great little Parisian hotel We were absolutely delighted to find this hotel tucked away in the 9th arrondissement. Great restaurants and stores all around, within walking distance of Sacre Coeur Basilica. Service was great, staff was friendly. Only bad part was that they made you pay for wireless internet. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Great hotel for the price

It was the badest room i ever had . There was mould in the shower and mould on the wall next the bed . Cables are hanging down from the ceiling of the staircase . The photos of the homepage are not the reality .I was very disappointed and i will never come back to this hotel . Shame for the money (EUR 140 for two nights)

Decent hotel No complaints. Really close to metro station and in great location. Rooms aren't large, but they are clean. Only little complaint is that it was very noisy from early morning-lift, stair and people noises are a bit annoying if you want to lie in a wee bit longer. Would recommend staying there if price is still good.

Extremely small rooms, but locations and excellent service compensates.

Good short stay If you are prepared to visit several museums and art galleries on 2 consecutive days it is worthwhile purchasing the special pass beforehand as it is slightly cheaper and avoids the problem of queueing. This can be done on line.

Don't waste your money like I did! Cons: Mold in the bathroom. Old bed mattress that sags and smells. Very noisy! Rude staff (especially the front desk). Our room smelled very bad. The breakfast was out of some items every day and the bread was always stale. Since I paid 100% upfront, I could not get a refund and find another place. I would say this is a two star hotel, and not 3 (which they claim). Pros: Decent location.
