We stayed at the Des Mathurins over the weekend in Nov. 05 for 3 nights. The room was very tidy, a bit small but with a very nice bathroom with sepperate shower and bathtub. The location is good, only 5 min. to the madlaine. The service was not the warmest and most welcoming for a 4 star hotel. That could improve. Other than that on ouer next trip we would return to Des Mathurins.

Small hotel, small rooms, but it takes all away the great hospitality, the great location and the nice design touches in the room. Great stay and I would highly recommended it.

Stayed for 4 nights. Good location. Staffs are friendly. Room is modern and clean. Shower room's water tap is slightly complicated for Asians as we did not know which is water temperature control. A short note to guest about the shower tap could be helpful. Price could be slightly lower. Difinitely a nice hotel to stay again and recommend to friends.

+ the location was its plus point and the receptionstaff was alright - you see the hotel electricity was a big problem. two times in as many days the lift was not working and all customers were using the stairs and even the light of the staicase was a pro

+ The hotel was very charming and immaculately clean. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was great. - Supplies in the bathroom could be replaced more frequently.
