All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel du Centre and would gladly stay there again on my next trip to Paris. It was within easy walking distance of the Metro, which can get you anywhere you need to go in Paris.

Très bien placé dans un quartier très vivant. Very good situation. Chambre très petite (sans parler de la salle de bain) et plutôt bruyante (vrai silence entre 1h et 6h). Small bedroom (and shower room) quite noisy (silence between 1 AM and 6 AM only). Pour un hotel 3 étoiles, j'étais plutôt déçu. I was quite disappointed for a 3 star hotel.

Too small room I was shocked when I entered to the room, the room was too small, only has space for one double bed and thats it. I know that problem in Paris is to find room with normal space. The elevator only fits you and a small baggage.

Good value for money.. The hotel is ideally located, with the metro just a 2 minute walk away. Recommend using the metro as much as possilbe, it's a great way to get around quickly. My fiance and I spent two nights at the Emeraude lodge,the room we were allocated was small but very clean and suprisingly modern. The staff were friendly enough and helpful and due to the price being very competitive you didn't feel like you were looking for perfection, which is normally the case when spending more money on a hotel. I would recommend this hotel as a good base for a short sight seeing break in Paris.

Lads Rugby Weekend Loads of nightlife a few streets away. Plenty of cafe's for breakfast nearby.

Very tiny - small room and hard bed The room very small. The smallest i've seen. The WC door was just a sliding panel. The bed was very hard and discomrotable. Don't wait something special from this hotel, take it only if you plan just to slip without comfort. Personal, cleaning, general room conditonion and electronics are well.
