the whole stay was pleasant and staff was helpful with info about internet access, opening corked wine bottles and giving info about how to get to places... the only little jar in the stay was that every time one came to the main desk a different person was on duty... once my reservation was found all went well.... I did not fill out any registion paper but that may be because I had given all my info on-line ... the towels are threadbare ... TV worked well....bed was soft but comfy ... the curtains were dirty! ...because of the convenient location it was a good choice!

We chose this hotel because we were travelling to Paris on the Eurostar and wanted somewhere near the Gare du Nord.We followed the map off the website & took only ten minutes to reach the hotel. It has been recently refurbished, rooms DID look like the photos on the website, clean bathrooms with double showers, flat screen tvs and best of all new beds for a comfortable nights sleep. All hotel staff we met were very helpful and gave useful information on places to go,the metro, even recommended some great local restaurants. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it worked out much cheaper to stop off at a patisserie nearby so can't comment on that.We stayed for three nights in March and while the weather was cold the hotel had good central heating. It was our first time in Paris and I have already recommended this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

The rooms are not spacious but facilities are ok. The Hotel personnel speak English and very helpful. If i came back to this Hotel that is for the cordial behaviour of the employees.

we stayed just for 2 nights and were very happy in the SOFT. As wer arrived with the Thalys train the distance Gare du Nord to the hotel is just a 10 min. walk. The closest metro stop is just 5 min away (gare de l`est) Since the hotel has changed management a big effort and expenses have been done, starting by the rooms which now have a roomy, 1st class bathroom, flatscreen TV, etc. Just a safe was missing, but the reception solved this problem. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel, available for 7€ extra. For those looking for an extensive b.f. we can recommend "le pain quotidien" in the "rue du commerce" The service at the reception was very kind, tourist info is available for free. We can recommend this hotel to everybody staying in Paris regarding the price/quality very good, especially when arriving in the Gares du Nord or de l`est.

A very welcoming Hotel. The downstairs breakfast room still needs doing but overall very pleasant. Possibilities to leave your luggage before check in and after. Great Location for train travel .

Very nice and helpful staff. The Hotel is in downtown Paris you can arrive all sights by walk (i you like). A couple of supermarkets and stores. We would like to come back again. The only negative thing was, that they charged us 0,50€ p. Person more for the breakfast as they advanced. But the breakfast was more than ok.

Very nice hotel, it was under renovation but it did not cause me any grief. Modernized rooms were a nice touch, location is great, la Seine is within a nice afternoon stroll. Will definitely consider staying there again.

The best choice in our four times in Paris. Very kind staff, large and clear room, big bath, excellent service. Near the hotel there are two stations (Est, Nord) and several restaurants. Also some supermarkets. What else ?

This will be a nice hotel when they get it finished. I arrived in the middle of an electrical blackout affecting the lobby and the elevator, but that doesn't explain the desk clerk handing me a key for a room -- on the top floor, to which I had to walk -- that was alread occupied. Still, when things eventually worked out, I was impressed by the room itself and the modern fixtures which were going in. Free wi-fi is always nice, and the location can't be beat. This place will, in the not too distant future, be a prime location near the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.
