Nice area, would go back. Have breakfast at a local cafe - convenient and cheaper!

+ The location and friendly staff - Noise of the lift, uncomfortable bed and limited supply of pillows

Great Location Hotel was set in a great position, close to metro and easy walk to Notre Dame. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were quite small, but we didn't spend much time in the hotel so it wasn't a problem. Would recommend the hotel for its location, not necessarily if you want a luxurious room to stay in.

Decor of hotel was not fancy but pretty good for price. There was street noise but windows blocked it when closed.Although was airconditioned it was not very efficient so could have been hot in summer. Our room had good sized bathroom but saw room on upper floor on corner with tiny shower! The location was excellent with metro, markets, supermarket, laundromat, bank ATM,internet cafe, bike rack and great cafes(Rue Mouffetard)all within 100 metres walk.Breakfasts also great and reception staff very helpful in organising tours/transport.We had a very enjoyable four nights here.

Have already recommended it to friends The down side to Paris was the abysmal condition of the toilets in the cafes and reastaurants. Often they had no seats on toilets or locks on doors ( even unisex toilets ). No towels to dry hands. Floors very dirty. Other than that Paris is Great

Our first time in Paris and found this hotel on the internet. Good value and reasonably central: walking distance to all the sights. Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Only gripe would be the size of room (and shower - teeny!) but to be honest we wer

Very good price/quality ratio I stayed in this hotel with my daughter. The room was relatively small (though perhaps average given Parisian standards) but quite pleasant (the bathroom is comparatively unexpectedly spacious). The staff was very friendly. The location is great. There are two metro stations near by and quite a number of pleasant venues are walking distance. Internet access is not too expensive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not impressed Not a good choice. The room (5th floor) was tiny, walking around the bed was a struggle, and our window faced a brick wall. The shower was ridiculously small, impossible to move without bashing elbows or turning off water...I'm not big either, 5"10 and 11 stone..! In addition to above, mini bar not being re-stocked and towels washed daily (totally unneccesary) mean I would not stay at Des Nations again. Would recommend the location, 2 mins from Metro and 15 min walk to Notre Dam, some excellent restaurants and bars nearby, but would be definitely be staying elsewhere.

+ Its location was very good, and the air con worked well! - Needs new carpet and sheets on the bed. Very outdated!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely, clean, quiet hotel.Rooms are as per ALL Paris hotel rooms (ie small.) - however Hotel is in a superb location, only a short walk to Pantheon, rue mouffetard(full of fab restaurants) etc. Would definitely stay here again.
