Small and cramped room but more than sufficient for a single night. Very good local facilities, superb eating within very easy walking distance, as are all the major tourist sites. The reception staff are most helpfull in their dealing with foreign visitors.

Neighborhood was safe and the Metro is within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The hotel is alright. It was the best deal that I could find for under USD$100/night, and is ideal for someone who is on budget travel. Its probably much better thatn your average youth hostel. But if I were going with my wife or family, maybe I would consider spending a little more money and enjoying more comfort. NOTE: The areas south & north of the Notre Dame are the most beautiful areas to stay at. (Latin Quarter & Les Marais)

Great location 5-min walk from Arc de Triomphe. Good price for the area. Staff speaks some English, but communication much better if you speak/understand French. Bring earplugs!!

this is the worst hotel i have ever booked with venere. the pictures bear no resemblance to the place. The corridors and stairs were filthy. Breakfast is a joke.The whole place smelled of damp and is extemely run down.

The photos at the web page of the hotel have nothing to do with the reality. the rooms are extremely small, the walls are almost falling. Very poor.

The location of the hotel is very good. Near Arc de Trioumphe and Champs Elysees and you 20-25 minutes to Eiffel. Metro is near, bars, restourants are near, some small shops to buy fruits and water. Very comfotable to come from C.d.Gaulle airport with AirFrance bus shuttle. Price for returned tickets 20 EUR (august 2007). Just 35-40 minutes and you are near Arc de Triumphe and hotel is just 400-500 meter far from. Very comfortable was to walk in the late evening, becouse you always can come to hotel by foot. Rooms are simple and need renovations, but is that very important, if you are in the most romantic city in the world? :) For us was important to have good location, good price and bed with shower. That exactly,what we have got.

This hotel needs urgently a complete renovation. Everything is old, overused and in a very poor condition: wallpaper, doors, carpets, sanitary facilities, extreme unpleasant smell in the bathroom (sewage I guess). Nothing has been done in the past 30 years. It's a pity by the very good location. The rate of 88 € per night might low for parisian standards but is still much too high for such a low level of comfort. And the breakfast is for 9 EUR an impertinence.
