Nice stay This hotel is fine... location, etc. lovely decor. My room had perhaps the smallest bathroom I’ve ever encountered, but the water pressure was good. Paper thin walls and noisy Italian neighbors grew old. My only real beef though, is that the wireless internet costs a fortune (just absurd to spend 30 euros for a total of 300 minutes) and the hotel is strict about not allowing you to eat anything in the room. I wasn’t even allowed to bring a cup of coffee from breakfast up to my room (I was chewed out by the morning server). Given the prices in Paris, it would be nice to be able to enjoy something takeout in your room every now and again. That and the outrageous internet fees will prevent my return.

Nice Place in Paris You're in the Montmartre area! Bars and cafes are everywhere (as are the sex shops and strip clubs)! Prices are a bit high but so are prices everywhere in Paris. I never did find a beer for under 5 Euros.

I stayed in the hotel just for one night which i wanted to be very romantic, and it really was. this place is very very nice, the staff was very helpful and welcoming and the room was cozy and comfortable. we didn't try the breakfast though but i find the price very competitive. i would definitely go back. if i have to say anything bad, i'd say i missed a toothbrush, i think just the soap and the bath gel aren't enough.

A really sweet hotel with lots of charm in a lovely area of Paris. The Hotel des Arts was a wonderful little hotel in Montmartre. Having read a lot of frightening reviews on here which scared us, e.g. that the hotel was overbooked, i rang in the morning to check and everything was fine. When I mentioned the bad reviews and tales on here the receptionist understood and said that there was no problems atall. The front of the hotel was a fantastic welcoming, looking very typical in style. The room was petite yet clean with an especially clean bathroom including free soaps etc. The staff were friendly also and although the breakfast was not huge, there were lots of nice things to chose from. Overall, an extremely enjoyable stay which we would recommend to many.

Great location, wonderful staff We spent four nights in the Hotel des Arts in Montmarte, and I would recommend it to any budget-conscious traveler. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, at leat by European standards. The multi-lingual staff is both cordial and helpful, but never intrusive upon your privacty.

Monmatre so relaxing An excellent hotel for visiting/seeing Monmatre. Breakfast was basic and lacked variety but promptly served. A good retreat in the evening away from the main tourist areas.

Good location, good breakfast (but not happy about dog in dining room), good room, helpful staff, enjoyed our stay. Good view from the window. Would recommend it, and would go back again.
