The Hotel des Arenes is located in the 5th district, in the heart of the Latin Quarter. This Hotel was named in reference to the Gallo Roman amphitheatre next door: Les Arenes de Lutece. The Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, the Pantheon, the Jardin des Plantes and its National Museum of Natural History and the Jardin du Luxembourg, are approximately 10 minutes away by foot from the hotel. Guests also will find also next to the hotel the Mouffetard area with its small busy streets and a large choice of shops, bars and restaurants. The subway station Place Monge, just a few steps from the hotel, gives guests direct access to main attractions such as the Musee du Louvre, the Champs Elysees, the Opera, Montmartre or Montparnasse. Refurbished in 2005, the hotel has 52 rooms and can welcome guests 24hrs a day. Guests can enjoy the comfortable lounge and appreciate the continental breakfast served in the breakfast room.
