+ Good position - They charged us 40 euro because we left some stains on the bedsheets...the owner was very rude with us in complaining.

A very nice hotel with a wonderful staff (hello, Abdel!). For Bohemian types (like us), the location couldn't be better. Wonderful restaurants all around and a real neighborhood feel. Rooms and baths are small but nicely appointed. Nearby restaurants include Chez Fernand, absolutely superb French food, and La Fantasia, a Moroccan place just a few doors down. But, as they say, in Paris, every restaurant is good...the bad ones don't survive!

We stayed here in February. Our room was lovely, it was the one with flower design window treatments on the photograph, even more pretty! Room was small and quite noisy at night, mainly people passing and talking loudly and occasional traffic noise (we are light sleepers), but very well maintained and very clean. Only negative comment: rubber under sheet! It was impossible to sleep on, we ended up removing it. For these prices and the status the hotel is promoting, it is even offensive! Staff was courteous, extremely helpful and efficient. Location was the best you could fine: right in the area with lots of restaurants (excellent ones) but in a quieter street. 5-7 min to metro, but we walked everywhere in Paris and it was always convenient to get back to the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!
