A Great Location This hotel was in a fabulous area! Lots to see and do ... from private art galleries to the Louvre ... all within walking distance. Lots of restaurants close-by. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, etc. This hotel is small, but quaint ... and historically appealing.

Great Hotel/Small Rooms The hotel is in a great location and I would def stay in this location again. Here are a few complaints. Me, my mother, and my sister arrived at 9AM from NY the night before.. we had no sleep all night. I made sure to call the hotel and let them know I needed an early check in. We get to the hotel and they tell us our room will not be ready until 2PM. After lounging out in the small sitting area for 2 hours they told us our room was ready. I guess they got tired of staring at us falling asleep. The room was tiny for 3 people. One king size bed and a cot. The picture on the website was very different then the hotel itself. Overall the location was great and you don’t spend much time in the room. I’m really not picky at all about hotels... as long as its clean, nice staff, and has a shower and toilet. You can walk to almost all major attractions from this area. Traveler's tip on dining Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Great Location, near everything Must try Cafe' de Flore for breakfast and Les Deux Magots for dinner and evening drinks after a walk along the river.

+ Good location close to many cafes and the metro, friendly staff. - It was stated that bathrooms were recently renovated and rooms had shower and bathtub. However we only had a very tiny and rather run-down and stained shower. Also the toilet was leaking

Wonderful quirky hotel!! This is our second stay at the Crystal hotel. We love its quirky features and obliging staff. All the sights we would want to see are either in easy walking distance (Louvre/ Notre Dame)or can be accessed by the nearby Metro. There are fantastic restaurants close to the hotel and Les Flores in on the doorstep for a last night cap!

+ Staff very helpful - No coffee and tea making facilities in the room, hair dryer was not working. We asked for a double bed but the bed was really two twin beds joined together which made it rather uncomfortable.

In the heart of St-Germain-des-Prés Very conveniently located hotel in St Germain. Hotel staff is friendly and front desk personnel speak English. The Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, St Chapelle, Norte Dame, Les Invalides, Musee Cluny, Musee L’Orangery, and Musee Rodin are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The subway station is right around the corner. The RER train station to get to Versailles is next to the Musee d’Orsay. The hotel is very clean but the lobby furniture is quite shabby and needs replacement. The hotel has no air conditioning; not a problem for our June trip but it might be a issue if you visit in August. There is an open air market 2 blocks away and a nice super market just south of the hotel if you want to save money on food. If you are interested in museums, buy the Paris Museum Pass; it allows you to bypass the long lines at the museums and Versailles. The tour operator, Paris Vision, picked us up at the hotel and gave us an excellent tour of Giverny and Monet’s garden. If you have children, Luxembourg Park is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel and has a great playground.
