Extremely comfortable, safe, Great appearance on outside and inside. Exceptional service and personal kindness. Great breakfast. Very clean. Condition and comfort of room perfect. Concierge extremely helpful. Metro to everywhere only a few steps away. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Go through "Paris Vision" for great guided tours. Had guided tours of "Palace of Versaille" and "D’Orsay Museum" and they were fabulous. Get a "Metro Pass" for your stay. Make sure you get to the Paris airport 2 hours(preferably 3 hours) ahead of your departure; the airlines close check-in at exactly one hour prior to scheduled international departure.

I stayed in the Concorde Saint Lazarre two summers ago while in Paris. While it was a beautiful hotel, I found it was not in the best location. It is about a twenty minute walk from the Champs de Elysess and pretty far from the major tourist attractions of the city. Next time I would stay in a more centrally located hotel."

Beautiful hotel in great location I was very impressed by the quality of this hotel. The concierge was very helpful in helping me plan my days in Paris. Hotel is also in a great location next to the St. Lazare train station, across the street from buses that drop you off in front of the Louvre and other major attractions. Very elegant hotel within walking distance to the Opera Garnier and Champs Elysees. I will definately stay here again when I return to Paris. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Across the street from the hotel is a wonderful cafe called Pomme de Pain which is great for grabbing a quick bite to eat at very reasonable prices.

When we checked in we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a junior suite. The room was large, clean, bathroom very pretty, beds comfortable, ample closet space. Hotel lobby was very elegant. Room furniture was slightly dated and minibar was expensive, but otherwise room was great. Hotel is well-known and easy to find, located next to a major train/metro station. Everything is easily accessible. Stay was great, but would probably rate hotel 3 to 3.5 stars by U.S. standards. Would recommend to friends and family.

Comfortable for European Standards The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was a bit overpriced but there is a grocery store around the corner and several chain cafes across the street. The hotel is located in between the local train hub and a metro station which makes it a very busy commuter street. In other words not very quite but interesting to see the every day life of the people of Paris. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Since the metro is across the street buy tourist day passess. We bought 3-day passes (24-hr period) for the two of us at a cost of 39 euros. This covered both metro and bus. Taxis were to expensive. Also if you are on a budget, plan to eat on the go and at McDonald’s, this will save you some money so that you can eat at a nice restuarant. Eating at restuarant’s every day will break your budget before you know it.

Great location, great service While the rooms are a bit dated, the rooms are clean and efficient. The location is fantastic for tourists. The lobby of the hotel is impressive, and the level of service is superior. This hotel is a great value for the dollar, and by the way, is English-friendly. I have stayed here three times, and will surely stay here again. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Take the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. They have their own lane, so you will beat the traffic..and it is much cheaper than cab fare.

Not quite what I expected... Mollard Brasserie across the street from the hotel is about the best place to eat in the area. Food was OK, but the beautiful interior of the restaurant with the mosaic tiles is worth the visit.
