Comfort Inn Sacre Coeur - Paris 18ème

Good value and character The room furnishings were old, but everything seemed very clean when we arrived. We noticed there was no stale smoky "hotel smell," which was nice. The window opened over a busy street which provided us with hours of fascinating people watching. We did have a few issues when the maids kept leaving us only one towel (for two people) and didn't refill our toilet paper when it ran out so we had to make a few trips to the front desk to get what we needed. We did not have the hotel's breakfast (8 Euros) because the street outside was full of cafes where we could sit outside and eat a filling breakfast for 4 or 5 Euros each. We felt this hotel was a good value because it is situated in the heart of Montmartre. We fell asleep every night to music either from the piano bar next door or street performers outside. We constantly smelled delicious food cooking from the surrounding restaurants and bakeries. This was the real Paris experience we were craving.

The location is great, we didnt wait more than a minute for a metro the whole weekend so very quick to get into the centre of paris. the rooms are very basic but just what we needed. beware lots of places are closed on a monday - there are lots of good little shops near the hotel. there is a fab little french restaurant just opposite - real friendly! Smaller room than it looks on the pictures but very clean. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially the night porter, considering we were delayed and turned up on a sunday night at midnight he was very polite and smiley! Around the hotel is very nice, great restaurant just across the road very small from the outside but amazing food. Nice little breakfast room downstairs. So easy to get into town, in the nice end of Montmartre away from the seedy bars, 4 mins walk from the sacre coeur, lots of good little shops and restaurants nearby, and not too touristy. So close to the metro, very easy to get around even till quite late at night.

Location, Location Location!!!!!!! Basic, but clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast - but what a location!!! This was my 2nd time back in this hotel, and when I come back to Paris, I'll be back here.

great location, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, the room was well worth the money, great night life, plenty of suitably priced restaurants in the near vicinity. neighbourhood was safe and secure.

great area to stay the hotel is situated in a wonderfull vibrant and interesting area or paris , the hotel itself is clean with friendly efficient staff who mostly speak better english than i can speak french unfortunately it was loosed down by its small and cramped `double room ` and ensuite which one literally needed to climb over the toilet to access the claustiphobic shower cubicle equipped with postage size towells the bed too was sadly poor and even someone as my self who can sleep anywhere found it extremely uncomfortable so overall the hotel sadly loosed down what otherwise was a lovely holiday in paris and in no way ditracted from the friendlyness of both staff and locals.

For the price this hotel offered basic clean accomodation in an ideal location to explore the sights of Paris

It was a good hotel, nice and clean. And it was a perfect location, 5 min from sacre coeur and 2 min from moulin rouge just Metropolitan by the corner. The room is very small, they look bigger on the pics, but for us there was no problem. Rooms very small and basic, but clean. , a good choice for people on a tight budget.

Everything was satisfactory. The location is perfect. I just missed free wireless internet connection...

Hotel is in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. No elevator. Room OK but bathroom was incredibly small

Small room, but it is Paris The room was small, but it is Paris, clean and overall I had a very good time. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, booking my airport shuttle and making sure it came on time. I will stay here again.
