We stayed here in January. We were apprehensive on arrival, having booked it on the Internet from Australia and worried that everything would be OK. However, it exceeded our expectations and we were treated wonderfully. Ideal for couples. You can step straight out of the door to wonderful Paris. The room was upstairs, small and basic, with a pokey little bathroom that was well-worn, but it had everything you need and was clean. The welcome was warm and we found it ideal as a place to crash between walking Paris, and eating out. Taxis can't drive to the door and you will have to carry/wheel you luggage a 100m or so, so pack accordingly.

Déçu The room was extremely small and very loud (internal and external noise); we got stuck in the elevator because we were not informed that it was out of order; the bed was not a double bed (just slightly bigger than a single); the room was not very clean; the shower doors did not close properly; we were given two rooms at either end of the hotel although we had been told they would be next to each other; the location is good though

This Hotel has the best location in Paris. Right on Rue Mouffettard, a street with many cafes, bakeries, a street market and 2 minutes walk to the Metro on Place Monge. I have been to Paris many times and the last 3 times I have stayed at the...

lovely little hotel Excellent location, the rooms were more than adequate but the beds were not too comfy, but a few glasses of wine made for a easier sleep on an evening. The hotel is within very easy walking distance of the Place Monge metro, and has many bars and restuarants within steps of the front door. The breakfast is plentiful and there is soo much that it is possible to make a little sandwich from the bread,cheese and ham on offer. I would definately return there, and would certainly consider it as a hotel for a single traveller as the Rue Mouffetard is lovely well lit street with plenty to offer on an evening.

Shower was broken, room needed a serious cleaning. Manager should check rooms from time to time to check for broken items and cleanliness.

Tucked away on a tiny Parisian street, only steps away from the Place Monge Metro stop. Charming staff, minuscule room, but a bargain for the price. A perfect neighborhood for a first-timer or a Paris regular.

Small but nice Great location, very nice staff, small room, but comfortable, smelled like smoke, but I don’t think they had a non-smoking room because they were sold out and we got the last room!

This Hotel has the best location in Paris. Right on Rue Mouffettard, a street with many cafes, bakeries, a street market and 2 minutes walk to the Metro on Place Monge. I have been to Paris many times and the last 3 times I have stayed at the Comfort Hotel on Rue Mouffettard. If you are traveling on a budget there is a grocery store 1 block down the street and bakeries where you can buy baguette sandwiches for 2 or 2 euros. There are crepe stands and pizza places and fixed priced restaurants all around within a few blocks. At night just walk outside the hotel and there is a party. Many bars and night clubs in walking distance. My college age daughter got very ill and needed medical attention while we were there and Elizabeth at the front desk arranged a wonderful doctor for us. It's not the Ritz. The rooms are small and the carpeting could be cleaner...but as I said the location can't be beat.

+ Clean room - Don't have nonsmoking rooms and ours smelled strongly of smoke. Rooms are very small and the bedspreads were not clean. Bathrooms very tiny.
