Comfort Hotel Canal Saint Martin - Paris 10ème

+ really valuable, close to city centre (25minutes walking for Notre Dame), good breakfast - room small and hot, but acceptable

This is the place for a quiet nights sleep, also very close to the metro and not far from the Gar du Nord railway, I would recommend this hotel.

+ Only one I could get for the RWC final but fairly handy as only 15min walk from Gare du Nord... - Wouldn't take my family there for a weekend in Paris!

The hotel is 3 star rated, but is should be 2star

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very small and noisy rooms. Breakfast is weak and the hotel charges extra 8 Euros for it. I would not recommend to anyone. For the same price anybody can find better hotels in the downtown.

The cleanliness is good and the room is generally ok, except that it is small. It is convenient due to pretty close to MRT station. However, the freshness of breakfast is doubtful.

The worst, most overpriced dump I have ever stayed in This hotel was the equivalent of a 25$ per night US motor lodge with similar comfort and amenities. This was also in a bad neighborhood: graphitti on the streets, people urinating in the streets, drinking on the streets all night, not to mention the overall "scary" look of the neighborhood. The room was tiny, old plumbing, no AC, no free breakfast and noisy due to traffic noise 24-7. This was really, really, bad!!!!

+ location near metro - dirty and noisy surroundings, old and small rooms, room and bath facility not maintained well, window knob was broken, no Air Conditioning

+ Friendly, helpful, competent staff; location, bright, clean room; best shower in Europe - Wish there were a coffee maker in the room

Location of the hotel is ok, but there is problem with parking, and the nearest in house parking ia about 15 - 20 minutes walk from the hotel, which is not pratical if you have children with you, especially if parking is three floors underground and no lift to bring you back to street level.
