pictures are misleading The hotel room was the smallest of the 100 odd hotels I must have stayed in my travels. The pictures on the web were misleading giving an impression of a much better hotel. Location is in general good, but on saturday the concierge was missing leaving the hotel relatively accesible to anyone who could get in. All in all avoidable unless you cannot afford anything else.

Great location While the hotel amenities are fairly average, the location of the hotel makes it a great choice for any travellers.

Near métro, bus to and from airport, supermarket and markets Before getting to Paris, study a map of the city and the area where you will stay. Get references from people that know the city for places to eat that are out of the tourist-trap areas.

Not That Great It’s more of a room rental than a hotel. The staff leave at about 5:00pm and locks the building up. Them do give you a code to get back in , but if you need anything at night forget it. we had 3 rooms and all 3 had mold in the bath tub, toilet didn’t work in one, hair dryer didn’t work and one shower flood the floor when turned on due to bad piping. Oh, and no view except on the top floor. Other than that everthing was great. Traveler's tip Lots of other places to stay in the same area.

Excellent Value My husband and I (age 31) stayed at this hotel because of the location close to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées. We were able to walk to all the other sights (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Orangerie Museum, Notre Dame, Museum Rodin, Museum d'Orsay, St. Sulpice, etc), but the walks were long, so bring your walking shoes or just take public transportation. We enjoyed walking because we got to see more. The area was excellent and loaded with various restaurants as well as excellent shopping all within walking distance. The room was a nice size and very clean. We had room service every day, but you need to do your own dishes. The man who worked the front desk was very nice and spoke English so it was easy to communicate with him. The bathroom was also a nice size with a tub/shower combo. The only thing that slightly bothered me was that there was some mildew in the corner of the shower. It wasn't enough to gross me out and I am very picky, so don't let ths hold you back. The kitchen area was small, but great for holding cold drinks that you can pick up at a market right down the street. The kitchen area also had a stove and microwave. Overall, this hotel is perfect for a couple/family who isn't looking for something glamourous. It is safe, clean and spacious so you feel comfortable hanging out after a long day of sight seeing.

Nice hotel The red bus tour picks up at the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysees. The bus is very handy for getting off at all the major sights.

Good value If you are looking for a good central location in Paris that has tons of shopping and restaurants and access to the train station close by, this is a great place to stay. Everything was just right and the room was clean and the staff is courteous. Its overall good value for your money. Traveler's tip on local attractions Arc De Triumph is just a stones through away and the Champs De Elysses shopping area close to the hotel.

Great for families & folks OK with less than a 5 star level hotel Awesome location- 1/2 block from Arc de Triomphe, Metro/RER, Champs de Elysees - close to restaurants, market, pharmacy, etc. We traveled w/ a 9-yr-old & asked for 2 double beds. Ended up with a sep. bedroom, kitch./LR w/ fold out comfy bed, big new BA-great hot showers, large walk-in closet, 2 TVs. We were out most of the time but in the evenings and mornings were very comfortable. Took prior reviewers advice and kept close track of our key and entry code to lobby since front desk is only staffed during the day. But we’re used to this kind of hotel. Didn’t need extra services since we were there to be tourists. Would stay here again. Decor is minimal but, again, not why we were there! :) Definitely make the 20 min. Metro trip to St. Denis to see the church there. All the kings, queens of France inc. Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette have there tombs there. The marble mausoleums and statues above their tombs are life size and impressive for kids. Go to Louvre on Fri. night at 8:30 p.m. No crowds & it’s open until 9:45 on Fridays.

Wonderful location and clean/big (in Paris standards) rooms I like this hotel because of its location as well as its clean and big rooms. It's intended for extended stays, thus it has a closet with a cooking range and some kitchen utensils. We got a quite room overlooking the back of the building, which was great! This area is a busy part of Paris, and the rooms overlooking the street side can be noisy. Would want to go there again.
