Good location Hotel is convenently near la defense, near shopping malls, business district and transportation. Room is comfortable, but kitchen could use some paint. Coffee machine was missing.TV has no teletext, which is important in France, also has only one English channel. But altogether a good deal for the price. Traveler's tip for business travelers Convenient for meetings at La Defense

A great value and location This Citea hotel is one of a network of reasonably priced hotels in the Paris area , and indeed in the rest of France. A bus line right across the street takes you directly to either the La Defense station or right down the Champs Elysee to the Orsay Museum at the Seine. Over a half dozen restaurants are in the immediate Courbevoie neighborhood of the hotel. We also saved a lot of euros by often preparing food right in our room when we came back from Paris central in the evening . To travel back to CDG airport we took the suburban RER train with only one transfer from La Defense at Chatelet-Les Halles to CDG. Get off at the second airport stop for the international terminal. Traveler's tip on shopping If you take a bus or metro line from La Defense and get off at the Les Sablon stop you will find an open street market of bargain designer clothes every Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. The La Defense shopping mall itself has over 280 stores but they closed at 8pm during April when we were there.

Not bad. The hotel was average, but about what we expected for the price; heck you only sleep there. The front desk staff was OK. The hallways alittle dirty, but the rooms fairly clean. Not well insulated so you can hear if there is noise in the hall or outside, but generally this was not a problem. Rooms and bathrooms are small, I believe typical for Europe. About a 10 minute walk to the Metro, then its easy to get anywhere. Bakery across the street is amazing, had pastries and bread and coffee, etc. every morning. Overall a good experience and would recommend for the budget traveller. Traveler's tip on local attractions Lot’s of shopping and places to eat nearby at the LaDefense center, which is also where the Metro is located.

Nice place, close to Paris This is a nice place to stay, very close to Paris. If you want to take either the Metro or the RER, it’s really close to the station. The bakery on the corner is the perfect place to start the day. Be aware that you have to take your trash to the waste bins (inside the hotel) and that if you are willing to use their dishes, you need to clean them all at checkout, otherwise you’ll be charged 25 euros! Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks If you are on a budget, there is a Supermarket called Auchan where you can buy everything you need (Food, soap, toiletry, etc.). Be aware that if you’re paying with credit card, they’ll ask for your passport since you have to show an ID to pay with international cards. The driver’s license is NOT considered an ID by the french law.

I would most definatley stay again I used these expedia reviews to select this hotel, but they were a little incorrect campared to my stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and our room was small but just what we needed. Very comfortable and tidy. we had our rooms and bathroom cleaned everyday when we got back to the room which was different that what i expected by the other reviews. It was great though! the metro is not far at all, which i travel to europe often so im used to walking alot but it is a nice walk. the bakery across the street is wonderful. Traveler's tip on shopping you are really close to the la defense shopping center and it is really nice there, they have some wonderful shops and if its near christmas the christmas market is right there.

Good hotel at a great prize. The hotel is situated 3 minutes walk from La Defense. The quality is good (bring your own blow-dryer) and the prize is excellent for a hotel in Paris. It was my third stay and I will return.

Value for money Hotel is simple, decent, and clean. Good sleeping address for visiting Paris, not a place to spend a lot of time. Wireless internet worked without problems. Breakfast (additional) is also simple but good. Rooms have convenient safes to store your valuables including laptop computer. Rooms do not have air conditioning (not uncommon for hotels in France) which makes the hotel warm on warm days. Hotel has an elevator. All in all a good hotel for the money. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks This hotel is not located in zone 1 of the metro, but in zone 3, so to get to Paris, you need a Billet Ile-de-France ticket for zone 1-3 . Standard metro tickets (T+) are not valid. Getting a Carte d’Orange (week pass) is a hassle-free and cheap (if you have more than 10 trip to/from Paris Center) option. Last metro from Paris leaves around midnight.

Great Crash Pad I really like this hotel for a crash pad (definite 2 star). Since I was only using the place as somewhere to sleep / shower it was perfect for our needs (and it was clean, and quiet). I would not recommend this place is you are wanting to spend a lot of time in the hotel. But if you are like me and my friends then it worked out great. The Wireless Internet worked great, was free, and easy to connect to. Their parking garage was 10 euro with a refundable 50 euro deposit for the key. The METRO was about 1/2 mile away, and a little tricky to find the first time. In Summary, I would recommend this hotel if you want to get out and see Paris, not cuddle in a hotel bed all day. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay The stop that you will be at is "La Defense" (Paris’s largest buisness district, do not read that as touristy, but more for conventions etc). Go to the METRO ticket counter (not the automated machines) and make sure you take the time to fully understand their METRO system (my friends and I got fined 25 euro each for taking the worng train).

Returned for a second stay. Very convenient. Short walk to La Defense Metro station. No. 73 bus stops right in front. Supermarket around the corner. Boulangerie across the street. Laundromat next door.
