This is a truly charming hotel in a perfect location in Paris. We had a duplex suite, with 2 bathrooms, which was perfect for my husband, me and our two daughters. The food is very good, the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is in the middle of some of the best shopping, within walking distance of the champs else, the louver, Notre dame and most of the top attractions of the city. The concierge was helpful, though was not as good as others we have had the opportunity to visit, perhaps because he was very much in demand. However we did not always get the best advice from him. Otherwise, the overall rating for the hotel would be 10.

+ The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was pleasant with a fine view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. - The restaurant menu was very expensive but this is to be expected in the middle of Paris. We didn't eat in!

+ The hotel and staff were excellent. - Only issue was an unpleasant odour in room 602 in which we stayed which we reported to the reception.

The hotel is being renovated in a art deco theme and it loses its quaintness. Our room gave an impression of being in downtown New York rather than historic Paris.

- The table in the room was defect. I have in booking ordered a room with two beds, but got a room without. I reclaimed and were moved to another room.

In the heart of Paris luxury fashion streets is a very convinient place to stay. Service is excellent. As usual in Paris hotel room is small. Little remarks: getting dinner at the hotel restaurant takes a little bit long. Get your breakfast early, it gets really busy later in the morning.

Classy Low-Key in the 1st We spent two wonderful nights in the Castille Paris this October. Our room, booked through Expedia because they were nominally sold-out was quiet, luxurious, and spacious. We arrived from the countryside in a rental car; the bellman handled all the logistical challenges of unloading and returning the car without a mention. When I had some trouble with the hotel wireless (perhaps because of my ancient laptop) they promptly refunded the access fee. All in all we were delighted with the room and well coddled by the staff; I’d recommend the Castille without reservation.
