Campanile Gare Du Nord Hotel Paris
232 Rue Du Faubourg Saint Martin - 75010 Paris
This hotel is located in Rue du Faubourg Saint Martin and very close to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The city centre of Paris is within easy reach by public transport. Directly in front of the hotel guests will find a range of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and links to the public transport network (métro station Louis Blanc, Lines 7 and 7b). Shopping areas are located around 10 minutes away on foot and one of Paris' most beautiful parks can be reached within around a 20-minute walk. Orly airport lies around 23 km away and it is some 28 km to Charles de Gaulle airport.

I was at the Gare du Nord train station thinking it is very near. It was drizzling and I had to push my heavy luggage and walk for almost 30 min before I managed to find the hotel. However, after that it was fine as the hotel is just across the subway. Now that I know the exact location, I will stay again if I visit Paris.

Great hotel for the price The service at this hotel was great. The rooms were a decent size and very clean. The bath tubs are quite deep and can be difficult to climb out of, so this hotel may not be great for seniors. The breakfast was quite nice but not included in the price. We were charged for this when we checked out. The best part of this hotel besides the cookies/biscuits provided in the room is the location. It is directly across from the Louis Blanc metro station and there is a lovely bakery around the corner.

Gare Du Nord, ideal Nice, clean, good size rooms, pleasant english speaking staff. Bag storage before and after stay. Only 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. Perfect for the money. Go and stay there! Has a Metro station 10 yards from the front door.

Functional hotel close to Gare Du Nord Like other Campanile hotels, this is a modernish refurbishment of an older building. It's clean, the rooms are spacious enough and it's less than a 10 minute walk away from Gare Du Nord. So you're away from that cluster of similarly priced hotels immediately opposite the station which tend to have smaller rooms and cramped communal parts. The room, the bathroom and the communal parts where pleasantly clean. There's a warm welcome on arrival. Downside is that, like all those other hotels closer to the station, you have a bit of a hike to reach the tourist centre of Paris. But Paris is only a small city and nothing is very far and, if you're a good walker, everything is accessible by foot. This isn't a luxury hotel but it's clean, functional and convenient. If you like Indian food, it's also very close to the colourful Indian quarter of the city. I would be happy to use this hotel again.

Nice, Clean and Convenient The staff was friendly, gave good advises and directions for people like me who don’t speak french. The Hotel is very convenient, just right across the Metro Station with a lot of restaurants nearby. The room is a little small but it’s clean and with everything you need i.e. hair dryer, coffee and tea maker, air condition +++ Overall, NICE - CLEAN - CONVENIENT!

Not bad for a 2-Star - Friendly and clean! As we knew we would be staying at a 2-star hotel, we didn't expect too much. Impartant to us was that it was well located at a Metro station and provided clean and comfortable shelter after our Paris adventures. Beds and bathroom were okay, taking the 2-star status into account. Reception was open 24/7 and very friendly. Breakfast is nothing special and I would advise to save the 8.50, go to the next brasserie and eat there. Altogether we would stay there again. Cheap, clean and friendly.

Reasonable hotel near the North and East stations in Paris. A clean well run hotel very near a metro station, and only a 10 minute walk from either the East or North stations in Paris. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. My room was very comfortable had tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits. I will use this hotel again.
